Wembley v West Coast. Easily GAME OF THE ROUND. Needless to state that Stan The Man will get close attention from WC. Wembley's Coach is very smart as their Main Man Stan spends equal time in both the guts and forward line depending on circumstances. But in saying that Wembley are no one man band. A great Team who play hard, fair and skillful Footy. WC obviously are no mugs and would be smarting from last years disapointment of not being promoted to A Grade. Really tough to seperate two talented Teams, however, I will go with Wembley by 16 points due to home ground advantage and the playing with a hard nose Team first approach.
Bassendean v Bullcreek. Well its a C1 Grand Final rematch. Creek do have a talented and big forward line and when they get proper supply they are dangerous and match winners. Basso are a low scoring Team (haven't kicked more than 10 goals) but play a high pressure play on at all cost type of game. Basso need to win their last 2 games to be assured of finals and a home final in the first week. Too much at stake for Basso so they are to win by 36 points. No doubt Wanneroo and perhaps Mr M will be in attendance to watch Creek who are their final round opponents.
Ballajura v Swan Athletic. Swan Athletic are a very good Team but have had no luck this year with close results going against them. Ballajura as stated before are the smallest B Grade Team I've seen and they need their mosquito fleet to always be at the Top of their game to trouble the better and bigger Teams. Swan Athletic to get back to the Winners list by 10 points
Mount Lawley v Whitfords. As previously articulated if Whitfords think this is an automatic win they better think again as they will be ambushed by the Hawks. Im quietly confident that Whitfords will be switched on and focussed. Too much at stake for Whitfords in a game they need to win. Whitfords by 37 points.
Over and out. Fullback.

Frank the tank been scared off from Mr M??

MOTR- Wembley v WC
West Coast to get the win with a more even spread of winners across the ground- WC midfield will get on top and have more power up forward to kick a winning goal.

Basso V Bullcreek
This will be a lot closer than ladder suggests. Bullcreek almost out of relegation zone and basso fighting for a finals spot.
Basso to get up by a couple of goals.
ps- BAAFLE/Unholytugboat- have basso named the player you guys have been talking about all year in regards to suspension?

Balla v Swan Ath
Balla very under done and Swan Ath to take advantage.
Ath 5goals

Mt Lawley v Whitfords.
Mt Lawley too proud to throw this opportunity away and Whitfords having a rough patch atm. If Whitfords lose finals almost off the cards. Lawley lose and relegation looms.
I am going with MT L in a close one. Wityk to kick 5 and win the game

Boy oh boy what a day for a footy game

Think Frank has taken the bye off with the Roos

Nailed the MOTR and it’s going to be a cracker.
I like the look of the Magpies this year and they will get it done in a close one. Based on nothing really both are good sides.

Basso v Bullcreek.
Been a tough year for the bombers and it will continue this week.
Basso by 5 goals

Balla v Swan Ath
This will be tight with both teams showing plenty of heart.
Ath to get the points.

Hawks v Warriors
Hawks coming up against a Whitfords side who pretty much had a bye last week (in the fact they didn’t show up to play footy). They will be hurting from that and they are a much better side than that. Whitfords by 2 goals

For Mt Lawley to survive Ballajura will have to beat West Coast at West Coast next Saturday.

As West Coast have a home final at stake there is no chance of them dropping that game.

Mt Lawley will have to regroup in C1 next year. Not sure how many years ago they played in the third level of Ammos if ever!

Given they played in an A Grade Grand final in 2011, hopefully they don't go the same way as Stirling Kalamunda & Maddington!

Didn’t think there’d be a relegation this year given uneven amount of teams. 2 up to A 2 down from A. Them 1 up from C1 and 0 down from B grade. Then do similar throughout the comp to get as even numbers as you can. Remembering that a few lower grades if the get their 2nd side up go back into the grade they were in last season. EG Yanchep were to be in C4 but after restart didn’t get 2 sides up but have been advised they will go back to C4 should they get 2 sides next season. Interested to see if this happens.
Also looks like with 2 weeks to go TA’s or Uni could be relegated. How long has it been since either of them have been in B grade.
Happy to be informed if I’m wrong on what they’ll do to make B grade a 10 team comp again any other way then the above thought.

I don't think there will be Relegation in B grade this year, Especially with a well run club like Mt Lawley, will be at the GMs discretion.

Add in a couple of teams refused to come up from c1 at the start of the season to even up and Relegation from B grade would be utterly criminal.

Looked like a great weekend of Perth Football League B Grade games.

MrM has eyes and ears everywhere, Wembley coughing up a huge lead?
Mt Lawley and Whitfords throwing a few fisty cuffs before and after the final siren?
But please note MrM definitely had much better things to do than go watch Bassendean v Bullcreek that’s for sure Fullback, in hindsight though I’m sure MrM missed a wonderful clash.

MrM did get to watch some interesting football from Colts in the early morning though. In a game that offered little MrM was interested in seeing one particular player from the opposition take off his jumper mid quarter and look to shape up to several Wanneroo players. Credit to him though, can say he was embarrassing the club, given he’d taken his club jumper off... Just embarrassing himself.

Looks like a great weekend to finish off the season, still so many things to be decided. Who will finish top and even finals places still need deciding.
MrM does still hear talk in hushed circles that relegation and promotion is still on, seems ridiculous to MrM, but then again, things happen that do boggle MrM mind.

Still seeking an answer on clubs holding functions especially given government news last week. Please provide feedback if your club will indeed be holding a function in coming weeks, MrM would like to hear from you thank you.

Apologies to all my fellow listeners for missing the write up this week. Frank's usual time of Friday morning for a write up was rudely interrupted by his boss and was called out on site. No need to worry though, Frank gave his boss a piece of his mind so it wont happen again. Although if anyone knows any Boilermakers needing any work, Pass them on Frank's details would ya. I appreciate Fullback once again, just helping the boys out like this, but be warned, don't step on his toes and know your role.

Football time

Wembley had a 4 goal lead at one stage to be run over at home. TBH, thats a good effort from the Wombles as I think Wet Toast are streets above everyone. The Toasters just rolling on again but once again, I will reiterate, imagine getting bundled out again during the finals or even not getting promoted? Squeeky Squeeky bum time coming for the boys from the Hamptons

The Hawks tough 8 game stretch comes to another close-ish loss to Shitfords. By the looks, if the Warriors had kicked straight, we'd be having a slightly different conversation. Had some eyes on this game, with Whitties getting the jump but to be reeled back. Think the Hawks may have had a lead potentially near the end of the 3rd maybe into the 4th but got overrun. Big win for Whitties and as for the Hawks, well who knows tbh with a 9 team comp.

Basso and Creek draw it out at Jubilee. Good effort from the Creeekers although Basso will be spewing they didn't kick straight. Can anyone confirm, I personally saw this score go up at a Creek win before it as pulled down. Was this just a typo? Or......... Either way important points for both teams as we hit R9

Ballaaa lose another close one at home as they cling on to 2020. Least this week they couldn't blame not kicking straight the Royals as the Ath get a good close win. They ill be kicking the Ath, 2 losses by 1 point and a dodgy percentage probs rules them out for 2020 as well. Can either of these teams offer anything next week? Can Balla hold on and not cop a flogging? Time will tell. If anyone can work out the math in terms of how much Balla need to avoid losing by in terms of last place, that be much appreciated.

Cant wait to hear from you all spanners
