Blunder is correct. I just checked on the League Site and the Circular # 47 issued by the league titled "Covid-19 Supplementary By-Laws". It states as follows:

(1) The Lowest Placed A Grade team on the premiership table at the conclusion of the qualifying rounds shall be relegated to B Grade for the 2021 season

(2) B, C1, C2, C3 & C4 Premiers will be eligible for promotion to the next highest grade.

(3) Any other promotion and relegation decisions will be made at the absolute discretion of the General Manager to ensure there are 10 teams in each grade for 2021

So you could promote the C1 Premiers into B Grade without relegating a B Grade side (Mt Lawley) as there are only 9 teams in B Grade.

The same principle would then apply to other divisions if they have only 9 teams.

Great write up everyone, B grade chat is certainly in full swing with 1 round to go.

Unfortunate to see Mt Lawley in the position they are in with an injury riddled season and the loss of some heavily experienced and talented players.

West Coast did what most expected I think and flexed their muscles. Best team I have seen on the park this year and they will be buzzing going into the finals a heavy favourites for promotion which they made a big fuss about before season commencement.

Basso and Bull Creek draw is funny one considering all the Basso balls were apparently down watching the Creekers the week before and thought they had a simple win on their hands. Either way the draw takes out any chance of Swan Ath playing finals and makes this week very big for the boys from Jubilee.

Swan Ath and Ballajura game a bit irrelevant but with Swan Ath just managing to get the job done despite their inaccurate kicking. Something they seem to have struggled with all season but a win is a win they say.

Look forward to a huge last round and can't wait to see everyone's predictions and tips.

Frank the Tank wrote: Apologies to all my fellow listeners for missing the write up this week. Frank's usual time of Friday morning for a write up was rudely interrupted by his boss and was called out on site. No need to worry though, Frank gave his boss a piece of his mind so it wont happen again. Although if anyone knows any Boilermakers needing any work, Pass them on Frank's details would ya. I appreciate Fullback once again, just helping the boys out like this, but be warned, don't step on his toes and know your role.

Football time

Wembley had a 4 goal lead at one stage to be run over at home. TBH, thats a good effort from the Wombles as I think Wet Toast are streets above everyone. The Toasters just rolling on again but once again, I will reiterate, imagine getting bundled out again during the finals or even not getting promoted? Squeeky Squeeky bum time coming for the boys from the Hamptons

The Hawks tough 8 game stretch comes to another close-ish loss to Shitfords. By the looks, if the Warriors had kicked straight, we'd be having a slightly different conversation. Had some eyes on this game, with Whitties getting the jump but to be reeled back. Think the Hawks may have had a lead potentially near the end of the 3rd maybe into the 4th but got overrun. Big win for Whitties and as for the Hawks, well who knows tbh with a 9 team comp.

Basso and Creek draw it out at Jubilee. Good effort from the Creeekers although Basso will be spewing they didn't kick straight. Can anyone confirm, I personally saw this score go up at a Creek win before it as pulled down. Was this just a typo? Or......... Either way important points for both teams as we hit R9

Ballaaa lose another close one at home as they cling on to 2020. Least this week they couldn't blame not kicking straight the Royals as the Ath get a good close win. They ill be kicking the Ath, 2 losses by 1 point and a dodgy percentage probs rules them out for 2020 as well. Can either of these teams offer anything next week? Can Balla hold on and not cop a flogging? Time will tell. If anyone can work out the math in terms of how much Balla need to avoid losing by in terms of last place, that be much appreciated.

Cant wait to hear from you all spanners

Hey Frank, not confident in my math skill but 85 points looks to be the margin, not sure if Balla could let it get that out of control but have seen funnier things happen.

G'day Lads, Good to know that Frank the Tank is well and back on board this B Grade Train...choo choo ?

Round 8.

Wembley v West Coast. From all reports this was a great game and Wembley dug deep to almost pull off a great win. More scoring shots and leading in the 4th shows that Wembley are the real deal and no one man band. My source tells me that the Magpies were missing 3 of their best players INCLUDING STAN THE MAN due to injury. The Magpies probably have the best Coach in B Grade with his smart tactical moves which is somewhat easier with the depth at his disposal. The players also hold him in such high regard and play accordingly. Taking nothing away from West Coast, however, be aware of STAN THE MAN as he's a real jet...come finals Wembley WILL BE a 7 Goal better Team with the players to come into the Team. Be scared, no be VERY SCARED.

Bassendean v Bullcreek. Another game where Basso don't kick more than 10 Goals, however, got a draw against the Creek. My source tells me there was mass confusion at Jubilee after the game where the Basso bench thought they lost the game by a point, the Creek bench thinking they had lost the game by a point. Compounding this the scoreboard had the Creek winning by 2 points.
Needless to state this would have been a good game to watch in the 4th quarter. No doubt Mr M and the Far Northern Roos were watching the game with the result not being what they were seeking ?

Ballajura v Swan Athletic. Swan Athletic held off the Mosquito Fleet of Ballajura. Good effort as no doubt Swan Athletic would have been rather flat after last weeks 1 point loss.

Mount Lawley v Whitfords. Great game and intensity which was expected knowing what was at stake for both clubs. Whitfords played well and were focussed from start to finish which was pleasing to see. Somewhat disappointed with the inaccuracy in front of goal which would have boosted Whitfords %. 4 points secured? No doubt that Mr M and the Far Northern Roos were hoping for a different result. ?

Next round its GAME ON!

Interesting quirk in the fixtures this week. Wanneroo have got an early game against Bullcreek and their game will be finished by around qtr time in the Whitford v Wembley game. The Whitfords boys will know by how much they need to win or lose by.

G'day Voice from the Outer, Yes, that's the case and it's my understanding there will be 2 Warriors at the Far Northern Roos game to ensure that we have everything covered. Mr M no doubt will be extra nervous leading into the game against the Creek and rightly so....? it's game on!

Fullback, your obsession for MrM has no limits it seems, it’s very much like Robin Williams character in One Hour Photo...
I don’t even know if anyone will be too perturbed by any results come Saturday, I for one cannot see any players, officials or bystanders rushing off after a game on Saturday to one of the worst grounds in the whole competition

I think for a team that was worried heading into season 2020 and this was pre Covid affected season I don’t even know if finals were on the radar. Especially seeing as Wanneroo play with a lower Players Points than majority of teams in the P.F.L and given early chatter this season I’d say they had won 4 more games than most tipped so far this season.

I’d very concerned about Whitfords Colts finals chances though...good luck to them.

This chatter is relentless from the Fullback. By the looks of it, you have found your keyboard and don't know where to stop. Just make sure you don't get on Mr. M's bad side, I've seen him tear people on these threads for less for them not to return.

Nice to know Frank wasn't potentially seeing things on Saturday when the Creek result came in then. No easy games at all this weekend for the 3 teams fighting for 2 spots. Anyone have an opinion on who they think deserves those 2 spots from what they have seen this year?

As for upandabout, I could not appreciate the work you have done for me in finding this number. Can anyone support him and this number?
