Just really non competitive which is so unlike a Kiwi sports team. They did have terrible luck with illness and injury so that was a major reason I guess. Their batting throughout the series was abysmal with their highest score 250. Major disappointments were Taylor and Williamson who just didn't fire and the rest had no answer to Australia's attack which would have to compare favourably with some of the best Aussie bowling groups in the last 20 years.

The thing that excites me is that not only do we currently have a world class pace attack Mike, but we also have some real depth with Hazlewood unable to get a game and the likes of Jhye Richardson, Riley Meredith, Billy Stanlake, Michael Neser just to name a few all pushing up as well.

Apparently Greg Chappell is a big wrap on Cameron Green and wants him in the Australian team ASAP.

Who would have thought we would have a batsman putting Steve Smith in the shade? What a revelation Marcus Labuschagne has been.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Very humble man, not like Dave Warner who belted runs only to return & slow right down.

I know they had their injury and illness concerns but I have to say the Kiwis were very disappointing in that 3 Test Series.
Outside Wagner and to a lesser extent CDG they barely fired a shot and to me seemed overawed playing the Aussies at home at our huge stadiums at Perth, MCG & SCG.
Unfortunately now we have to wait 6 months for our next Test Series vs Bangladesh over there, at least their is some other interesting cricket happening around the world in South Africa vs England & the upcoming NZ vs India Tests back in NZ will be interesting to see where both sides lie although you would expect India to give the Kiwis a hiding.

bease: they had something wrong with their heads. Take Blundell in the previous test match, whom should be commended for his efforts, but people should also consider the end of his innings; that man, blundell, after batting beautifully, had the opportunity 'to carry his bat' through a test innings, a rare feat indeed. What did he do instead? It was a great pity because he deserved such an honour. I am not convinced that a lot of these moddern day players are schooled in the game.

Funnily enough AR that was the first time Gary The Goat has taken a Michelle Pfeiffer at the SCG long considered Australia’s most spin friendly deck, he then went on to get a double in both innings and 10 for the match against the flightless bin chickens.

BH as you know that included a couple of dropped catches off his own bowlling too, so your right, they seemed quite happy to give the Melourne forward of some ability in both sports, s good bowlling figures.

No doubt Freezin would be enjoying the media over in NZ at the moment, they are getting stuck into the Kiwis big time, "spineless" was one of the adjectives used. I think its a bit harsh given the injuries and illness but I was gob smacked when they left out Southee from the Sydney test when he was available citing some mumbo jumbo about bowling workloads. If anyone deserved a rest it would have been Wagner who bowled 50 overs more than Southee in the series. The decision to rest Southee was made solely by the coach apparently without consulting Williamson. Fail to understand this given the lack of experience in the team
