The ICC need to look at how this CwC is broadcast across the planet. In the UK the host country the Woman's Soccer World Cup is on free to air TV.Is smashing the cricket in tv ratings.Last Friday 550,000 watch England play in the CwC.And 4.5 million watched England v Scotland in the woman's soccer world cup.
Very poor ratings for one of the tournamens favourites. Three rainouts in 5 days has the tournament losing momentum. However radio ratings are good .Aust-Nz-India-Central Asia-Southern Africa and even Europe are watching the CwC.Just wonder is cricket in England like Rugby in Australia. Just getting things wrong all the time.
One West Aussie added to the squad at the expense of another.Mitch Marsh in and Stoinis out, with an
injury.
Wide spread rain+thunder forecast for the Uk on Wednesday +Thursday. The UK is on target to have the wettest June in there history.

What a farking implosion.....very Pakistanesque like....about 30 runs short...disappointing again not to bat out the 50 overs...be interesting to see what Pakistan batting turns up today...need early wickets....for that 350 needed Warner to bat a bit deeper....game on as they say....

Total stuff up. Finch, Smith, Maxwell, Warner Marsh and Khawaja all chucked their wickets away. Pakistan have all the momentum and we need early wickets from Starc and Cummins if we are going to win it. Our bowling looks extremely thin outside those two and I reckon the batsmen have thrown away the chance to put the game away with 350+.There is no room for both Marsh and Khwaja in the same team. Pakistan will fancy their chances of mowing this down.

That was one crazy game. A fighting century from Dave Warner, two classy bowling performances from Amir and Cummins. Otherwise it was batsmen from both sides throwing their wickets away to bad balls, bowling which was all over the place, a lot of half trackers and full bungers. It appeared that both teams were doing their best to lose then would suddenly swing the match back in their favour. The game ended with a sublime bit of fielding by Maxwell. It wasn't the greatest standard of cricket but it made for compelling viewing. I thought Pakistan had us at 2- 136 with a required run rate of just over 6 but a series of Kamikaze shots and good bowling by Cummins saw them lose 4 -24 which ultimately cost them dearly.
Australia got away with one there and they need to consider their team balance before their next game as they need a better 5th bowling option than Maxwell. Only one of Khawaja and Marsh should be playing and if Stonis is not fit maybe they need to consider putting Mitch Marsh at number 7. They need to settle down their batting order and decide whether Smith or Khawaja is going to bat 3. I feel sorry for Ussie as he has scored more runs in this calendar year that any other player in ODIs ( even more than Kohli) and now he finds himself being shuffled up and down the batting order when he has scored most of these runs as an opener.

I reckon our opening bowling attack of Starc and Cummins could do with a quality 3rd seamer option like Hazlewood or Pattinson as NCN, Richardson, Stoinis etc not in the same league as the formers.
