42 you rolling out Rafters name is like BH rolling out Husseys name....both good professional role models for all n sundry to follow....considering cricket is an 11 person game compared to tennis being a solo game....pretty sure it's easy to find more prima Donna brats in cricket than tennis....but TBH both sports have their dickheads and sadly cricket have more because more are on show representing Aust than tennis.....but is Hewitt any different from Langer or Waugh in terms of their harden approach to their respective sports.....tho I have never seen Warnie or Warner refuse to hit a ball because they are pissed off with the ump or the game not going their way......tho great to see others in the tennis mix taking the limelight away from the current antics of Aust two over hyped prima donnas...hopefully in cricket the likes of Sangha, Philippe, Pucovski etc can do the same.

I would much rather an Australian Cricket side or SDFC side for that matter that pushes the envelope and gives absolutely everything on the field to win then the sad and sorry, but oh so polite, well overpaid bunch currently parading around as professional cricketers!

And therein encapsulates how the Australian cricket team's boorish and appalling behaviour has been accepted over many, many years as long as they were winning. Since you mentioned Australian tennis players previously Pat Rafter did not have to behave in a manner akin to the Australian cricket team to become number 1 player in the world and his behaviour post his Wimvledon loss to Goran Ivanisivic showed the class of his character. And yes, he has called out the behaviour of players like Kyrgios and Tomic to preempt you having to google about it. One wouldn't want your to wear out your ggogle searches.

As I have said previously, one would have to go a long way back to find an Australian cricketer that a junior coach could use as a role model for his or her junior cricket players.

Are you suggesting the likes of Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins, Lyon, Marsh bros, Finch, Paine, Khawaja etc are not good role models?!?!

Paine? Grasping at straws aren't you BH? Exactly how long has Paine been a member of the Australian cricket team?

Apparently you must be the only person who is unaware of the behavioural problems and culture within the Australian cricket team.

Perhaps you might like to explain your assertion re systemic bad behaviour within the Australian Davis Cup and/or Fed Cup teams for the past 30+ years.

You may be the only one who hasnt realised that Paine is our current Australian Captain 42!

BH patent nonsense. I hope that Paine is a driver (in spite of J Langer and potentially S Waugh) for a positive change in the behaviour of the Australian cricket team.
