True Freezin, the Indian bowlers don't have the overall class of the South African unit but in Bumrah, Yadav and Kumar they have bowlers capable of wobbling the ball around on Australian pitches and getting the hapless Aussies nicking off. The collapse today is not a one off, it is another in a long line of failures of the top and middle order batting orders over the last 3 -4 years in both test and ODI's .

These collapses have co-incided with the complete takeover of the Australian summer by the money spinning BBL making the Sheffield Shield and domestic 50 over competitions close to irrelevant. All it needed today was a couple of guys to put together a 60-70 run partnership in 20 overs after they were in early trouble and they may have been able to post something like 220 which would have at least given the bowlers something to work with. But no, guys like Maxwell, Stionis and even Carey can't resist the funky shots. The only batsman who probably was blameless in his dimissal was Finch, that was just a brilliant ball.
There are just too many 20/20 players in the 50 over team, its a different game. The funny thing is that despite all the BBL played, the Australian 20/20 team is not particularly good either.

Grown in the green house at Gloucester Park.Think the wicket will stay in there now unless something else is planned there.

BH your obduracy to recognise that appalling behaviour of the Australian cricket team for many, many years is palpable and that includes the era of S Waugh and J Langer. It is on a par with the behavious of the Liberal Party post the Wentworth by-election.

Much like your non recognition of the appalling behaviour of the Aussie tennis brats for nigh on 30+ years 42!
I would much rather an Australian Cricket side or SDFC side for that matter that pushes the envelope and gives absolutely everything on the field to win then the sad and sorry, but oh so polite, well overpaid bunch currently parading around as professional cricketers!

And therein encapsulates how the Australian cricket team's boorish and appalling behaviour has been accepted over many, many years as long as they were winning. Since you mentioned Australian tennis players previously Pat Rafter did not have to behave in a manner akin to the Australian cricket team to become number 1 player in the world and his behaviour post his Wimvledon loss to Goran Ivanisivic showed the class of his character. And yes, he has called out the behaviour of players like Kyrgios and Tomic to preempt you having to google about it. One wouldn't want your to wear out your ggogle searches.

As I have said previously, one would have to go a long way back to find an Australian cricketer that a junior coach could use as a role model for his or her junior cricket players.

Are you suggesting the likes of Starc, Hazlewood, Cummins, Lyon, Marsh bros, Finch, Paine, Khawaja etc are not good role models?!?!

Paine? Grasping at straws aren't you BH? Exactly how long has Paine been a member of the Australian cricket team?

Apparently you must be the only person who is unaware of the behavioural problems and culture within the Australian cricket team.

Perhaps you might like to explain your assertion re systemic bad behaviour within the Australian Davis Cup and/or Fed Cup teams for the past 30+ years.
