Did CA ask Bancroft to doctor the ball.Apsolute Bullshit. If India smash us this summer,to bad.The bans stand and I'm sure CA's sponsors think the same.South Africa beat us fair and square in that test series. There simply a better balanced side.

GTR make no bones about it when India are flogging us unmercifully this summer and TV viewers are turning off their sets in droves you can bet your bottom dollar SWM & FoxSports will be leaning heavily on CA to lift the bans after forking out a mint for the joint rights...as lets face it the media control professional sport these days!

MO -- agree with you on Greg Chappell -- he makes mileage out of 'supposedly' finding Steve Waugh and Dave Warner, as you know; other than that, he does not have mucn to hang his floppy cricket hat on.

BH you think CA will lift the ban.And take the blame for the ball tampering. The culture they have produced for the players.Butter wouldn't melt in Warner's mouth.hehe.

I am not sure Chappell can even take the credit for Warner AR...he was playing One Day Domestic, T20 & Futures League Cricket (NSW 2nd XI) plus International One Day & T20 games for at least 5 or 6 years before the Aust Selectors finally gave him a crack at Test Cricket

BH: yep agree mate

Do you think our batsmen can cope with the India's seamers given that the pitches are flat and we won't be using a 'duke' ball.

Peever has now stepped down as board chairman which is what he should have done on Monday when the report was released.

Yet another abject batting performance, this time by the 50 over team. Just a total inability to play the swinging ball, appalling shot selection and poor game awareness against a very good but not unplayable South African bowling attack. A lot of these guys are just not up to international standard,For a start,I would be getting Peter Handscomb back into the team as a replacement for Stoinis who is just a block or bash batsman and not a good enough number 6. The problems are deeper than just one player though.I get the felling its going to be a long summer for Aussie fans .

The Indians don't have a Rabada or Steyn in their attack mikeh, early days into the Australian international summer to start doing a "42" mate....but disappointed they didn't give McDermott a go opening instead of Head.....Short, Lynn, Finch, Maxwell and Stoinis on paper looks exciting, no different from the English boys in Roy, Buttler, Baistow etc in terms of power....need more games before pulling the pin on them....though Aust do need a player who can hold the innings together getting their ones n two's....like what Root and Morgan do.....tho not a fan of Handscomb tho, but did score a good 100 today and played well in the recent state 50 over comp....perhaps S Marsh for Stoinis once his pilonidal sinus issues resolve.....the bowling attack must hate this lot...
