A tragedy that this has happened, but not the first time.They have done the same with JFM.
It amazes me that so many on social media are attacking the young man as if it was his fault.
How many young players, like JFM, and CC would have said, or have said, Hey, hang on selectors, I am just not up to this level ... yet.Can you leave me out!
The selector need the rough end of the large pineapple.
Why would they throw him to the lions and have him open!
To me, once agin shows that the Big Bash is not a breeding ground for our future players.It is several layers below even the IPL, and evenmore so at International level.
I hope the selectors have spoken to and apologised to the young man.
I hope he can get his confidence back quickly.
