All fair points Freez, but for mine the big mistake is not rotating the quicks and giving others a go. Hazelwood breaks down so who do they replace him with? 35yo Boland. Did a good job but can only have a year or two left in him. My fear is that we going to miss out on an entire squad of potential world class young bowlers by continuing to persevere with the current aging NSW cartel.

BC I am all for rotation mate.....the lack of it has cost Aust a few series wins.....but in the whole, especially of late, a fair chunk of Aust wins,  have been off the back of the NSW cartel & Boland..as the batsmen have been very hit and miss at times.

Starc, Cummins & Hazlewood have nearly 950 test wickets between them...at an average of 25....that's freaking amazing......Boland and Neser must feel like Andy Murray did, with Federer, Nadal and Novak were on the scene taking all the plaudits.....whilst next in liners Richo, Morris, Johnson and Bartlett spending more time off the park than on it....their bodies can't be trusted...like Hazlewood's of late....but he is 34.

Hopefully Richo, Morris and Bartlett can stay fit and vie for test honours after this years Ashes.....because one way or the other,  Hazlewood and Starc will surely retire after an Ashes success or an Ashes flogging this summer....Starc will be 36 going on 37 and Hazlewood 34 going on 35.....
