Bazball? More like Bazboring. Agree with Mark Taylor, time for the umps to grow a set and start calling no ball. As I'm typing Cameron Green falls for those tactics so I suppose England will say their negative tactics have been justified.

Starc catch overturned by the review umpire an absolute joke. Don't even think Duckett asked for a review was half way back to the dressing room. Moron review umpire declares Starc wasn't in control of his body. Fuck me dead he couldn't have been more in control.

I smell a rat, probably some dodgy indian syndicate has put huge money on an England win or a draw and the review umpire is being paid off. That's the most disgraceful decision I've ever seen in cricket.

I am with DD on this one. Though I am watching with one eye. Some are saying down with umpire Erasmus, I am saying FUCK umpire Erasmus!

Even before the Duckett catch I was thinking that the umpiring in this match has been the most incompetent that I have seen for a long time. For hours they allowed Tongue, Robinson, Stokes and Broad to bowl balls that soared over the batsmens heads and called virtually none of them for wides. If they had started calling them the tactic would have changed pretty quickly but England took advantage of these muppets being asleep at the wheel as any team would.
Ironically they started calling Starcs bouncers in the final session which only emphasised their complete incompetence mixed with inconsistency as well.
As for the state of the game Australia should wrap it up today but while Stokes is at the crease, they will never be written off after Headingly 2019.

He should suffer the same fate as former Australian F1 race director Michael Masi. Should never be allowed to be a 3rd umpire ever again after that potential game changing clanger. Starc took a clean catch and was simply protecting his body. Turn the wrist and risks breaking it or landing on his elbow risks popping his shoulder out.

The day before Jimmy Anderson immediately grimaced and favoured his right shoulder after diving for a ball he was chasing towards the boundary. That umpire is an idiot.

The question in relation to the Starc catch should be was in control of the ball before it touched the ground and clearly he was. If he used the ground to keep the ball in his hand then that would be a different matter but he had it in his mitt for a second at least before he turfed it. I've seen catches taken in slips where the player takes it then throws it in the air in a split second with less control than Starc and they're ok. A total joke for mine and a poor decision. If that's the rules then they need to change them.
