As for the game, I'm expecting the eagles to roll Freo, eagles have way too many scoring options. Freo lacks a forward line, Cam will go missing as usual in big games,no tabenar, where do the goals come from?. Eagles have negating cattle to cater for Fyfe and whilst freo's backline is much better this year, won't be able to match it with quality forwards.

Should be a cracker on Sunday both teams in good form, this storm in a tea cup has added a bit of spice, Optus stadium suits Freo plenty of open space to suit our midfield and runners and this is where I think we have the advantage over WC, yes our fwd line is a work in progress and we will miss Taberner who has been in good form our smalls have been very impressive, and we have scored freely in all our wins.

The key against WC is to not bomb it in long so the like of Governor and Sheperd who can rule the air, Nicnat wont have it his own way I expect Sandi to nullify any advantage in the ruck that will be a close duel both I ripping form, Banfield has been a relevation and tagged very well I expect him to go to either Shuey or Gaff, good luck stopping Fyfe probably leading the Brownlow and has got over his leg issues don't think he will cares who presents the medal after the game.

Freos defence has been pretty good so far this year with Pearce one of the in form key defenders going around so his duel with Kennedy will be one to watch, Wilson and Ryan have been fantastic with rebound out of our backline.

In summary I think our midfield and speed around the ground will be to much for WC Freo by 18.

I'll bring this back up in 17 months time if Freo are still struggling to win a Derby tosser.

Both back lines have been playing well and more than likely do so again on Sunday.For me, it is a case of whether the Dockers backs can curtail the influence of Kennedy.To do this Fremantle have to stop the flow coming from the mids . A very competitive Derby. Both sides could take something out of it. The Eagles were just a little bit more composed when it counted but the Dockers would be pleased with the performances of young guys like Cerra, Brayshaw, Crowdon and Duman who I thought showed lots of poise. For the Eagles Darling played the best game I have seen him play for a while.
A well deserved win to WCE but lots of upside for Freo as well. How good is Neale?
