Jessie Hogan has committed to Melbourne for the next 3 years to end the speculation and Rory Lobb has signed a two year deal with GWS. Another blow for WA clubs trying to entice West Aussies home.

This gives Freo a few years to rebuild the list and challenge for the finals again.When Lobb and Hogans new contracts end.Freo should be a good option for both former West Aussies.

Not sure whats happened with this Grassy.Remember Lobb never wanted to leave in the first place.Maby GWS have told him there not far off a GF Victory.Hogans a tricky one he will take free agency when available you would think.Or maby the WB GF win has shown him there no reason why Melbourne cant do the same in a few years and break there 1964 drought.
Just some more confusion on the Hogan signing Grassy.Just heard he bought a house in Perth a few weeks back????

Grassy mate not one person from the Eagles nor Dockers had come out and said either of those players were "Monties" to come back to WA also neither of those players would have been in the 2 clubs planning for 2017!
Thats not to say both clubs didnt make enquiries to there management on there plans for next season.

Sure heaps of supporters from both sides have come out and said they would love to have them in there team,who wouldnt.
