In Hogan's case the two West Australian sides were never going to get an opportunity to pick him but I think Lobb went 2nd or 3rd round. Was that a fluke or was his attributes on display already at SD?

The key is to get them before they get snapped up over east. I recall WC in their early days traded to get the No 1 pick to pick up Michael Gardiner. They obviously rated him very highly. That sort of thing requires bold trading.

And now the 2 Clubs over here are left in a bit of a bind right now. What will they do? B)

Hatred?Just upstairs remember.Ok,maybe some your putrid supporters as well.Like the Cop Basher!

By the Way,Bon Scott followed Footscray.Don't believe the Dockers were a pinprick of his Imagination,so maybe Freo should stop the pre-match facade,eh?!

Grassy mate I can understand that you don't like, even hate the two WA sides, the AFL, the Commission etc....

Neither player was a monty to come back. It was reported by the West Australian media and even on AFL 360 or AFL tonight, maybe even The Footy Show that the Dockers and Eagles were interested in Lobb with the Eagles interest peaking after Nic Nat went down. The Dockers have been interested in Hogan for about 18-24 months and I think roughly three Sunday's ago it was on the back page from memory that the Eagles were interested. This followed an interview with Craig Vozzo on Saturday Mornings at the footy.

And what's wrong with playing TNT as a bit of pre match entertainment before the game. Who cares if Bon Scott didn't support Fremantle. That's drawing a bit of a long bow isn't it mate.

Fyfe I reckon and hope will stay but I think the football department at Fremantle really needs to at least talk about the possibility of him leaving if the right deal comes about.

I'd hate for him to possibly request a trade in 12 months time, let's say for example to the Gold Coast.

All reports are saying that this draft is reasonably deep and if you have a pick inside the first 35 then you should be able to get a fairly decent player. That being said the Suns have an abundance of picks inside the first 35 with any deal regarding O'Meara and Prestia still to play out. If he was to go to the Suns, it would make sense that the club trades now rather than later.

Why would he request a trade, feels like we've gone over this a hundred times he won't be going anywhere besides the fact he will be a restricted free agent and Freo will match any offer, not surprised you were fobbed off on Bigfooty with this ridiculous talk of Freo trading Fyfe to GC.

What happens when you write something positive!!!!!!
I know it will never happen, just like your assumptions on Fyfe.

Yep a thread about Hogan and Lobb turns into a Fyfe thread, the only thing that gets posters talking on Ozfooty is Freo, just look at the WAFL GF if Peel weren't in it this site would of been like a ghost town. you can just about guarantee any thread on Ozfooty will have something about Freo in it lol.

But seriously that has been my opinion from the get go ( nothing to do with hatred, ok yes i hate WCE, no affection really for Freo) that they have plenty of time to live in Perth, better off staying with their current sides who are equal or better than the local sides going forward. And how buying a house in Perth means you are moving back to Perth RIGHT NOW is laughable.

And then you get dumb clubs who gave up pick 1 for Downsborough, who was that Mick Moylan

This from PA board at big footy - Worst value - trade picks 1 and 24 Uncontracted player selection for Downsborough. No way can he be considered a suitable substitute for a no. 1 pick.

One of the worst ever, in Freo terroritory.

True, Perth is a much cheaper market to buy in than Melbourne, he's probably sharing a house with 1 or 2 others in Melbourne. He's just wisely investing in his future.

Does anyone know where Fyfe lives? I want to get a contract for Grassy so he can set up a picket outside Fyfe's house to harrass him until he signs. Have you considered he wants to concentrate on getting his body right and get back to his best so he can get the best deal for himself going forward?
