Cats play North dees tiges and brizzy, and though they have been crap playing the lesser lights, they should hold on to a top 4 pace IMHO

Agree with your thoughts there A/M. Hawks must fancy their chances of four flags in a row, you sense they are just waiting to peak. GWS will finish top 4 maybe not as high as second but a Sydney qualifying final looms. The Swans will be there or thereabouts and may once again emerge as the Hawks biggest danger. Geelong are still a question mark away from the Cattery IMO, same with Adelaide away from home. The Roos have hard run home so can't see them getting into the top 4 although I would favour them to at least win 1 final and perhaps 2. The Doggies are the hard luck story, they could have been a real prospect without the injuries. The Eagles will finish up one week after the Dockers.

Yep its Hawthorn,GWS and Sydney then it comes down to Adelaide and Geelong with percentage deciding who finishes where, both teams have a soft draw from here.

The top 5 teams on there day are as good as each other and all will have a huge advantage on there home deck come finals time.

Hawks minor prems
Swans best run home, and second.
Cats still like them
Crows/GWS

GWS for mine will go out in straight sets. The other 4 will contend in prelims.

Forget the rest.

Eagles not even close to real deal.

Hawks v Swans GF or Maybe Cats v Swans.

Should be a fantastic finals series just a pity the Western Bulldogs have been cruelled by injury but that happens. Has happened to my team over the last few years.

I only saw the first half today but I have to say that was as good as I've seen Sydney play in a long time. Their midfield is a well oiled machine. Where is Kurt Tippet at? If they get him back and a couple of games under him before the finals that might tip the scales their way.

I like GWS and also I think Adelaide can go far. I'm starting to hate Geelong and Hawthorn and hope they don't take any part in the last day of September.

Oh, and that other team making up the 8,WC are just making up the numbers. Soft as butter out in straight sets

I don't care Unka, they are just like Cats always manage to find a plum spot to lay down, about time they got kicked out of the 8 for an extended period and learn to live off the land. Cats always seem to get the cream through free agency.

They're a one man band nowadays anyway. No Danger No Geelong.

Free agency is for any team to tap into. Cant help that sselwood and dangerfeild ( who couldda got a mill a season elsewhere) wanted to come home to Geelong eh. As for Henderson we gave up a first rounder, and Smith a third rounder. Its smart recruiting. We were 44 years in the wilderness before winning a flag, taht to me is indeed learning to live off the land. One man band?, reckon the cats have pretty close to the best depth in the league ( gws execpted). Caddy Sselwood Lang Murdoch Kersten Henderson Clarke all avaiable but playing in the ressies, most of those a walk up start at a lot of clubs.

Yeh but all these free agency players want to go to Geelong, Hawthorn or Sydney. Good on Jake Carlisle knocking the Hawks back and going to a club starved of premiership glory.

And Zac Smith wasn't he a No 1 draft pick when GC started? You got him for a third rounder. Unbelievable!

True DD, dont think Smith liked the culture at the suns.True players like to go to "successfull clubs", also at the moment i think Geelong is rated as one of the best clubs for player welfare ( not the be and end all, but does help). Dangerfeild was a lucky get, didnt chanse the money as such, just a local lad, who wanted to come home.
