Of course you are right a/man. At the end of the day as long as the AFL get the sale ( $$$) and thats ALL that matters then NOTHING else matters. We live in a society now where sport is entertainment and of course $$$. Ethics, and "sport" as we know it no longer exists. The only fools are us as we continue to pay good money and attend matches etc.
The AFL know that in 6 months we will all forget about it. No further questions to be asked...how is Buddy going thse days???

Paul Little can fund it out of his 880 million dollar empire..

the other 17 clubs are still filthy Essendon didn't take a deal early on to get this all done and dusted at the time, that's worked out well for Essendon.

The players thought they were innocent so why plead guilty. However James Hird should be sued & not the club. He wanted the "edge" & should pay for his blunder. He should be charged for bringing the club into disrepute.

The thought of the AFL providing any assistance to Essendon down the track would make David Koch bristle. As president of PA he has clearly stated that ALL other 17 clubs told Essendon to plead guilty and take an early plea deal and take your medicine so the game can move on and Essendon can move forward.

Because of two big headed boofheads in Hird and Little, they ignored the advice of the other 17 clubs and decided to bury their heads in the sand and deny they did anything wrong.

the Cronulla players also thought they were innocent however they knew there was a chance they could lose out if it went further so took a deal.

based on evidence now that they did not disclose the injections they had been given then it makes the option not to take a deal even more stupid.

How retarded are these cheats, has the captain of the club even read the findings it's clear as day he and the players intended to cheat, and i heard today the biggest flog of all was with the players when they were told of the verdict.

Makes me laff, they "believe" and still do all the crap they were spun, and still dont realise WADA is a world organistaion, who pinged the most famous cyclist ( and one of the worlds biggest stars) of all time in Lance Armstrong ( alng with his bevy of high paid "clever" lawyers), but yeah we are AUSSIES and we are innocent BECAUSE we say we are.... fair dinkim SPARE ME.

Monfries was picked up by Port as a free agent in 2012 the saga hadn't even broken by then so it's easy to see why Kochy would be seeking compensation for him, and I believe Kochy has already stated that they were taking a risk with Ryder and that's their problem.
