Was it Jetta to WCE or Bennell to Freo?

The jury is out I think. West Coast have more certainty as to what they will get with Jetta. Bennell could either go horribly pear shaped or be an inspired move, depending on what happens off the field. Freos club leaders need to get into Harleys ear early in the piece and point out the standards required. If he can stay on track I think Harley has more ability to change the course of a game than Jetta

I'd think WCE have done best

Jetta peaked in the 2012 GF I reckon Sydney definitely won that trade, if Harley can keep on the straight and narrow will be a top five player in the league.

Unfortunately that photo from 2013 has really tarnished him and living with Hunt wasn't a good move by GC, knocking a cigarette out of a bouncers hand isn't newsworthy imo.

Agree with you here mike. I think West Coast got a more stable recruit, but if Freo can turn Harley around, only God knows what he's capable of. How would he go on the end of Nic Nat's tap outs???

If Bennell goes off the rails then WC have done better, however the upside with him is far greater if he doesn't. Will be interesting to see how it all unfolds.

Isn't Bennell already off the rails? That's the problem for Ross to look at.

He starts with a clean sheet now. It's up to him, all Freo can do is support his efforts and give him the best directions for the remainder of his AFL career.
Is a risk well worth taking with not a lot to lose and a hell of a lot to gain.

Yeah, agree but Jetta peaked a couple of years ago, the last two years have been a bit ordinary tbh, Swans did well with that one I reckon, Bennell who knows , but one thing is for sure no other club was touching him with a barge pole, could be ugly, could be good, but he isnt what the shockers really need , they need a replacement for pavlova badly, really badly.
