I do agree with your later post though Freo have been making fast starts the last few games, need to capitalise on that again.

A/man I will put it on record that Freo will win the GF this year. I do not know whether it is possible for this match-up to occur: if Hawthorn lose to the Eagles and is required to play Richmond they will go out in straight sets.

By the way A/man what do you think of the following:

(ii) G Whately not professional enough to interview R Lyon and M Pavlich;

Well now that looked suspiciously like premiership football from the Eagles. They made the defending champs Hawthorn look second rate all night with their relentless pressure. Long way to go yet I know and you would never write the Hawks off but that was sure impressive from West Coast without two key midfielders. Simpson is a genius with the way he has improvised for the loss of Mckenzie and Brown with guys like Wellingham and Shephard going to a new level.

So much for my predictions - Tiges went out with barely a whimper. Crows look dangerous. I keep on the Hawks case - hard to write them off. Cyril was ordinary - that won't happen 2 in a row.

I Cannot believe i picked richmond, the biggest wankers out, and the doggies flops every year.

Hodge looked like a footballer with a cloud hovering over him. He has brought negative press on himself and his club who have been forced to defend him. I always felt that was going affect his team. Congrats to the Eagles, was hoping they would smash the Hawks and that's what they did. Perth teams have always faced the daunting task of travelling east to win finals and Hawthorn found out how hard that really is.

Fremantle on the other hand were less than impressive however find ourselves in the same position as WC. I think Adelaide are a massive chance against Hawthorn and they represent just as big a threat as Hawthorn in a preliminary final. Let's hope for WA footy both teams progress to the big dance and make history.
