So what do people reckon? Promises to be a very competitive weekend of finals footy.

I reckon the Eagles might just pip the Hawks in a very close one.
Freo to beat the Swans by about 20 points
Adelaide to beat the Doggies by 2 goals at the MCG. It would be a different result at Docklands IMO.
On Sunday I reckon the Tigers might just outlast the Roo's

They are my tips but I'm not really super confident about any of them to be honest!

Thanks for that answer BC.That does explain that term used for Buddy.I had no idea the differnt reasons it could be.

I would normally agree with you about the WCE v HFC game Mike, but it is the Hawks and it is the finals. I have a feeling they may be ready to shed the shackles and tell everyone to move over. Can't tip this one. I think you're being kind to the Swans - Freo by 40 points. Adelaide to win, Richmond easily and Scott to find something to whine about.

A/man I will put it on record that Freo will win the GF this year. I do not know whether it is possible for this match-up to occur: if Hawthorn lose to the Eagles and is required to play Richmond they will go out in straight sets.

By the way A/man what do you think of the following:

(i) Sandilands not in the All Australian squad of 40;
(ii) G Whately not professional enough to interview R Lyon and M Pavlich;
(iii) Tony Shaw's All Australian team had one Freo player, Fyfe, in the team?

I have reread the posts on this thread and most people seem to be saying that Fremantle will win comfortably. I am confused with your comments

Ditto Mike,i also was ??? on Anchormans post.
I went back over the posts and it seems Freo is most if not eveyones tip.
For the record i think Freo easy.
I hope the Eagles win but i reckon the Hawks experience in finals may tell out in the end but it should be close.
