I am seeing a another demolition Derby coming along this week. Not like the demolition Derby that has gone down I football folk law here in WA, but a dismantling of a team.
I can't see how the Toasters are going to stop Fyfe, Hill, Mundy, Barlow, Neale, Sandilands, Pavlich, McPharlin, Johnson to name a few.
I see Fremantle as being too big, too strong, too fast, too skilful, too hard at the ball and man with it.
I don't see a player for the Toasters who will hold his own enough to help them get close to Fremantle.
I am tipping Fremantle by a very big margin.
Fremantle have played two very good sides and won both. The Toaster have played two cellar dwellers from last season for a 1/1 result.
Might just be very quiet around some work places on Monday, or maybe quiet from some.
Feel free to comment. And fire away Toasters.

Freo to win at the line 20 odd points is a good bet

There is no doubt that the Dockers are a much better side than the Eagles at the moment, however derbies are notorious for being intense physical affairs and often the underdog can be very competitive. The Eagles gave Fremantle a massive fright in one of the games last year. They got to within a goal deep in the last quarter before the Dockers pulled away. If Freo bring anything less than their best game an upset is on the cards.

not that I care much - but dorkers by about 30 points.
they are really in the zone at the moment

10 years ago there was heaps of hype surrounding these games, and the lead up , thats all dissapated some time ago, pretty ho hum, its now nrearly 10 years ago since the eagles were a powerhouse, since then the dockers have dominated the games, WCE seem to just folded and allowed them to dominate, at least when the dockers were crap they got up for these games, eagles for mine are a boring pushover these days, as an outsider looking in and not being a huge AFL fan...guess thats why they have become ho hum.

I remember all the pubs around perth would be packed around derby day watching the game, now its bugger all.

Yea I cant see WCE winning, as much as I would love them to! Who knows, stranger things have happened...
Freo just look so damn sharp at the moment its hard to see anyone getting them.

At least wc have memories and you can actually buy DVD of their successfull Premierships.

Freo have a cupboard full of derby trophies.
