Already he has said the fans are the important ones in the equation, food prices, ticket prices.I wonder how long it will be before the latter two are reduced.
It was interesting to hear reporters asking what was more important a third WA side or a side from Tasmania.Interesting.
hopefully he listens to the football followers more than AD did.

A bit too early yet A/M, but I liked what I heard from his first press conference. I think he may be a little less ego driven and more collaborative than his predecessor. I think Demetrious major fault was that he was too dogmatic and intolerant of anybody with views different to his. Time will tell but this guy shows signs that he will listen to feedback from the average footy fan.

do what my parents did - pack your food before you leave..
life is pretty simple, pay for what you can afford or make other arrangements.

the state of junior footy from the ages of 14 and above is a million times bigger issue than the price of chips..

Don't waste your time on this guy Anchorman, he has no idea.

Perhaps there is a direct correlation with the fact that is too expensive to take a family with 2-3 kids to the football, so they get disinterested in watching, this leads to them not playing football at a junior level and they go off and play another sport.

When I was at school, I always talked footy because most of my friends and I would be able to go to the games and we subsquently played because we wanted to be like our football heros.

no, I actually query the intelligence of people who think the price of food at the football is a big issue and think the CEO has better things to worry about.

ahh Shiz, you still crying about Kerr and Embley ?

The price of food is part of the overall cost of going out with the family to watch a game of AFL.

Ticket prices, parking, fuel, food, beverages all add up to this cost.

If it is too expensive to go - kids won't watch, won't play and will go to another sport.

Don't have to be a genius to understand this. Do you want me to get some crayons and a black board so I can draw you a picutre?

If the majority of people took public transport and brought their own food, then why was the cost of Going to the football one of greatest concerns listed in the questionarre?
