Sometimes these sorts of crises can bring a group together and this is what seems to have happened on field. As a neutral I will be hoping that they can continue their good form because what the WAFL really needs is a competitive finals series.

Yeah well they haven't lost a cent, WAFC is paying them in full so not an issue, a true test would be if they were all asked to play and coach for the jumper.

What, like your blokes and $ubi. Pull your head in Bazza, your club will experience the same fate mate, its just a matter of when.

WP supporters and members are hurting enough without you putting the boots in and trying to shift responsibility from those running the club to them. You need to stop viewing every situation from your own perspective because thankfully not everyone sees the world as you do.... a bitter past footballl administrator.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Not a problem with the comments abt the WP supporters but the nerve to tell another to get off their high horse, your business ( it aint a club never was and never will be) is the most subsidised in the WAFL and gets a a free loaders pathway every year! At least I admit we (EP) got a better run through the alignment albeit at the members misery!

Grump - my comments regarding Barry’s nonsensical commentary in trying to pass blame for the financial situation at WP on to the supporters and members has absolutely nothing to do with Peel.

Your views on Peel and my views on Barry’s attack on WP members and supporters are two completely different issues.

If you want to air your grief disdain or whatever about Peel can I suggest you start another topic.

Being a Peel supporter trying to understand any member relationship and responsibility at WP any of the other clubs is funny and then to tell Bazza his comments were from as you put is on a high horse is frankly laughable. You would have no idea what it is to be a WP member or Bazza as a SFFC member where they have to rely on sponsors, members etc to exist. As the saying goes until you walk in my shoes your comments to Bazza mis the mark completely!

Grump - you’ve made lots of assumptions there.

Questions.
Does every player that gets drafted go to the club they’ve always supported?
Have parents of players ever supported or been a member of another club?

I am really sorry but you have lost me with the questions, again using an often used saying left field seems to be effecting the thought processes down there in Greenfields

It’s Monday the 3rd mate now for some reason, they will either wind us up or accept the 4 cent offer, I normally would get excited about the finals but this had put a downer on the whole thing.

Not really much we can do, have donated to the club. In my view there has been little fundraising done.
I sent an email to the club to request to rattle tins at the last 3 AFL games at Optus but got no response.
Even Zempilas and Commetti have been quite about it, makes me wonder whether the WAFC want us to fold.

I apologise to anyone on here who has taken any of my comments poorly, this is emotional for me as I think it is for many West Perth people.

There is no good outcome here for the creditors unfortunately. Not a good look. But I still believe the WAFC could of sorted this.

Fingers crossed for now.
