We should not be railroaded into accepting a stand alone West Coast Eagles reserves team into the WAFL. The WAFC has no power to insist that the WAFL clubs vote for that 10th team.

This is the last chance we have to ensure that the WAFL remains with some integrity.

Let's go back to the situation where the players stay at their original club when drafted and ES players are allocated in a reverse draft. If the Eagles don't like that proposal the players don't play in the WAFL. Simple as that.

Firstly the WAFL clubs not the WAFC have the power to agree or to veto a 10th team in the WAFL.

As for my reasons against the 10th team are as follows:

(i) where would the additional players come form to provide 22 players to play in the 10th team or if the Eagles only have 10 players they will play with 10 players?

(ii) who do the reserves and colts players from the WAFL club play when the league team is playing the 10th team?

(iii) would the matches be played for points? Would the 10th team be eligible to play in the finals?

(iv) what about the history of the WAFL.. Why should we trash it?

I just hope the Wafl clubs have finally woken up and refrain from getting sucked in like they did before!

Not in a million years of Sunday’s will this be the option moving forwards. Would you have your AFL clubs developing youngsters being coached by different personnel and differing structures, week to week? Not to mention the cultural losses of not having a group of players coming through together and becoming the future for their AFL club. The damage this would do would catastrophic. Dumb idea. Pressures on now, everybodys over the moon that one allignment is gone, but have they really stopped to think about a solution? The host club allignment is the best system. Not perfect, but best. Mark my words, the WA footy public is about to realise that this is a huge mistake. Unless WCE get another host club.

Where does one start. Exactly where has Freo finished during the period of the current host club alignment with Peel?

And let me categorically and unequivocally state they they are not my AFL clubs. Exactly how much time do you think the players would sped at their AFL club compared to the time they would spend at a WAFL club?

Exactly how many premierships have the Eagles won during the period of their current host club alignment with East Perth?

I don't believe that when Son Son Walters was sent back to Swans that it was an impediment to his development. It seems to have been an outstanding success. Nor do I think that Lachie Neale's development was impeded by spending time playing for Swans.

Yes I would have the players exposed to different ideas. My God what a novelty. It may actually develop footballers rather than elite runners.

(1)]Look to Sanfl..Crows have top up players.Ammos,country.Not a issue
(2) Crows don't have a ressies or colts.No problem
(3) crows paly for points.Unfortunatly they haven't been any good to win a game.
(4) Let's bring back North fremantle and midland junction

There are only two options and I just mentioned them both. There is no other alternative.

While I do not personally agree with this as the outcome I do agree and accept that unfortunately they are the only two options, hope I'm proven wrong.
