Not 30,000 or even close.

39817 at the SANFL yesterday

And a 1 point win to Sturt over an Alignment Port Adelaide.Wonder how many Afl listed players in PA team.

More than Peel I believe..

Could you please verify that is correct PN?

12,000 lower than G Taylor's KPI. A spectacular failure.

If Swans were playing 42 he would have got his 30,000+ crowd wish but alas the 2 smallest clubs one an alignment the other buys their success played off yet again and despite the mass of free tickets and media build up (why only for this game why not every year) they could only muster 15k...a piss poor turnout for the occassion but probably just desserts to be honest when you are responsible for running this compromised competition where Subi plays an alignment side in the GF every year and one we all predicted back in March!

BH if Swans played Peelmantle yesterday you would have also been beaten and would be bleating about how unfair the system is way louder than us Subi people, your indignance would be palpable.

Swan 42 just looked at the Port Adelaide board on Big Footy.16 Port Power players played in PortAdelaides Sanfl GF.
4 player's played in the Port V Wce final.Of the 16 players
4 players had 10 games for Port Power.
4 players had played under10 games for Port Power.
8 Port listed players had not played a game for Port Power.

I think you'll find the number is actually 19. Different model to here. Port Magpies are a straight out reserves team with only a handful of non-AFL top up players drawn from Hungry Jacks and Bunnings car parks no doubt,

16 played yesterday for Port Magpies , and a crowd of almost 40,000 obviously the alignment isn't an issue in the SANFL, I'm not in favor of the alignment here I don't think that's the reason for our dwindling crowds, theres more at play here maybe WA people just don't rate the WAFL and have better things to do

The convention centre was packed yesterday when I was there for the Fishing and Boat show, and the Royal show was on as well a lot of factors at play , certain team dominating the comp would be a factor as well I'm not having a go at Subi but they are the facts, maybe a Perth resurgence would help.

SS in reality we are miles off competing against your mob and the alignments...which makes it even more infuriating when I see the likes of talented youngsters you have poached from other WAFL clubs in Nelson, Daniels, Parry, Fimmano, Matera, Menegola all kicking the dew off the grass yesterday and that was not even taking into account those who didnt partake for whatever reason in Polak, Sutherland, Latham, Perkins et al.
Obviously playing in a strong WAFL comp with 7 equally strong WAFL clubs competing against each other and the dreaded alignments means nothing to your mob as long as they are all right the other G6 can all go and get stuffed seems to be your clubs motto and attitude by poaching others promising players only to just to strengthen you own mobs magoos!

BH, I only replied to your comment "if Swans were playing", no need to continue your pathalogical hatred of Subi.

If swans had played in the GF they would of been flogged by 20 goals and the ground would of beem half empty by 3 Qrt time.

Any team bar Peel would of got close to 30k given some decent weather and the promotion they did..A freo derby or ep v wp would of done well maybe 30 plus and a traditional clash would of been an additional terrific marketing tool for the Wafl.

As Peter North indicates WA people compared to SA people have an entire different out look on Wafl than Sanfl , peoole in SA cherish and value local footy much more than here, they have always pulled bigger crowds. Wa people walked away in droves years ago.

The stand alone reserves set up seems go well there , maybe its time for us to try it.

Royal Show numbers are dismal as well btw.

Its sad to see comments on social media by WA Afl footy followers who now refer to the wafl as the Woe...full..when players get dropped back there.

WA people don't want to watch shit standard lets face it a lot of the tv games were woe-full. Its not only an even comp required but also a high standard of football
