From the bom.com.au site 4.6 mm have been recorded for Perth since 9.00 this morning. From 2.39 pm this afternoon 04 mm has been recorded.

That is the figure quoted by the radio commentators. Just a tick over 18,100. And apparently many car parks in Subiaco had free parking today too.

Would love to know how many paid to get in. Tickets being thrown out everywhere in the lead up. No harm in that...anything to get peeps to the footy at WAFL level before it completely dies. Maybe they can consider free entry to members of any WAFL club in future to encourage even bigger turn outs.

I wanted to go but heard $ubi did a deal with WAFC they had exclusive rights to 35,000 seats and Subi scalpers were charging $300 a ticket though I was tempted. It was packaged with Chicken in a Basket, a bottle of Subiaco vintage premiership port and a seat in the privileged Subiaco corporate box. But timing was against me, my annual subscription to Be my Bitch dating site was up for renewal and it's the only way I get to feel the power Subi supporters are used to.

The only reason they got 18 thousand turn up was because it was the last WAFL GF played there ever so a bit of nostalgia for some
