Well it is sustainable for Subiaco and they've been very successful doing it!

The last time SD were successful you had by your standards an unacceptably low % of local talent. Do you want to give that flag back? Maybe you should as one of your players was found guilty of taking performance enhancing drugs in the GF and the club guilty of salary cap breaches the following season with a very similar list to 2010.

Just to update WP played a healthy 63% local zone talent in their 1st game of the season.
Good to see a number of players from Quinns JFC are now making their mark in WAFL League footy and that will only increase exponentially in the coming decade or so.

Every club after their 1st game of the 2017 season interestingly the same Top 5 mix as 2016-

1. CL-81%
2. EF-72%
3. SD-68%
4. SF-63%
4. WP-63%

6. PE-54%
7. SU-36%
8. PT-31%
9. EP-27%

Mike despite what some club supporters might think this is not a chest beating exercise it is too actually give fans an idea about which WAFL clubs have placed an emphasis on developing their local zone kids into League footballers (something I take a keen interest in). With the upcoming Boston Group report due any time soon and the serious alternate changes to the Colts and other competitions mooted this sort of information would be pretty pertinent I would have thought?

No argument from me there BH. Unfortunately the resident troll sees it as another opportunity to derail topics and bring attention on to himself.

You guys are hilarious!! Someone dares to have a different opinion to SD posters and they must be the same person with a number of different alias's! The reason I might have the same opinion as one of the Subi supporters is that all the information I've put forward on this thread is reported truths.
SD had a much lower % of local talent in their 2010 premiership team. You did get done for salary cap breaches and one of your players was found guilty of doping.

Show me the stats that back up your constant barrage of opinion based dribble that Swans get the biggest crowds or how having a good percentage of local talent in your league team has any correlation to what every club is trying to achieve...win a League flag?

Like I suggested if you don't wants others to have their say on an open forum then go start a closed group where all the SD supporters can go flagellate yourselves.

Given your above comment and others on similar threads you've obviously got an issue with Subiacos %. My question is why as they've not been found to break any rules and there's no requirement to play a set % of local talent in your league side each week. You just need to play enough low point players to counteract your high point players and remain within the points cap.

Are you jealous that Subi have done this better than any other club and had a great deal of success as a result? I'd be happy if Claremont had a lower % but had won 2 or 3 extra flags over the last decade. Presume % wouldn't be an issue for you if SD were also winning more games and cemented in the top 5 each season?

hit, nail, head TT...another $wan$29m supporter whinging about something that is irrelevant.

How is it irrelevant when Schofield trys to pull the wool over the casual WAFL fan by sqwarking in media interviews how $ubi have developed and blooded their own, whilst in reality that is complete horseshit and everyone knows it!

I know why SD, the $ubi seat arrangement $$$$ well is about to dry up and he is pushing that point to at least try and get some of the Colts and Rezzies players to stay on.
