It just so happens we have won a fair few Colts flags of late...a real measure of great local zone development!

Yep given the rules all colts sides will have a high percentage of local talent so not sure what your point is?

Claremont's junior zone has produced a Brownlow medalist
Subiaco's junior zone has produced a Brownlow medalist
East Freo's junior zone has produced a Brownlow medalist

Has Swan Districts?

Come on Heater...EF junior zone has produced 3 Brownlow Medallists mate.... ;)

Can anyone define the comment "won a fair few colts flags of late?"...pretty sure Subi have won a fair few league flags of late - 6 since 2004 to be exact...that seems like a good definition of winning a fair few to me.....how many are we talking about here BH?

You're the one who reckons success is only measured by Premiership flags not me.

Well done to WP on Priddis's Brownlow considering he came through their 15s development side but not sure an umpires award is relevant especially considering Outers deregotary comments re umpires both on here and Facebook all over the summer...enough to make a bikie blush!

Out of interest what was SD local talent % the last time you won a League flag?

Imports included Hansen, Colreavy, Krakouer, Davis, Spaanderman, Roach, Riggio, Twomey, Geappen, Robinson...

Still want to stick by your original statement that all sides should be aiming for 66-75% and that anything below 60% isn't good enough?!?

Pretty sure EF lack of premiership success since 1998 has coincided with EF producing a vast array of players, who have succeeded in terms of career longevity and personal gongs at the elite level....pretty sure you are the fella who constantly reminds us EF fans of EF lack of success since the turn of the century....are you retracting that now mate?

Yep not great at 54% locals but that was also in the days of no AFL alignments but thankfully the club has made great inroads into challenging Claremont for the amount of local zone talent in the last few years.

How many of those were WC or Freo listed?

You got caught cheating the salary cap and ran out of money...

You HYPOCRITE!

Believe what you like Tiger at the end of the day but if you reckon that sort of continual annual recruiting from outside your own zone is sustainable in this WAFL day and age then we will never agree regardless of whichever club.
