Yep totally agree with you Swandog......that is the beauty of being younger than Bazza and I and being more google savvy I guess.....technology is a wonderful thing for recreating new memories or learning facts about sight unseen events or people....call me old fashion but still reckon seeing things in person at real time, is way better than watching U tube highlights or looking at old pics..

...bet its always nice for you to revisit those 82 -84 SD GF wins on u tube or wikipedia, but you know as well as I, your memories of actually being there at the time, taking it all it in, are way way better......assuming you were even old enough, for your family to take you to those games in the first place..... reckon those tonka toys in your sand pit could of been a tad more inviting back then eh mate ;)

Redlegs points are the best I have seen on here for a long time.

What ideas were they again,Bazza?

As for living in the past,it's a bit rich for you to point the finger, when you keep hanging your hat on PAST losing Grand Final Attendances for South.

The first GF Bazza would be old enough to remember clearly was 1979, I know who he is and in 1970 he would have still been playing with Tonka toys in the Sandpit, 1975 he would have just learnt to tie his own shoelaces (a bit behind was our ol Baz) all in readiness for 1979 and beyond, he would have as much recollection of the halcyon days as most of us on here! As for our foreign correspondent expert Freeze - well that is anyone's guess!

What a load of crap - you have no idea who I am, never meet you in my life - Thank God.

read it - he is one of your mob is he not?

what team won had jack to do with it, it's clearly the point of who was in it, which even a primary school student could discern.

What?Redlegs?

Did you check the colours?Looks more like a Norwood Redleg, than one of us.

As for '75 and '79,I get told each time, there was 50 000 Cardies and Old Easts Fans there, just as I get reminded there was 50 000 East Perth supporters at the '78 Grand Final.Only the Winners lay claim to the Glory, buddy. ;)

dream on, the stats are there end of story.

Oh deary me! :( The 18th week of fixtures just played proved disappointing.
This time, the lowest week 18 attendances for 6 years.
Has happened on a number of occasions this season whereas some fixtures have seen the lowest crowds for many years :(
An up-trend would be great to see.

1052 at Basso is an outright embarrassment. Where are all their supporters?

TOSG what were the estimates for the game on Thursday? 800 was the estimate by a Subi supporter was what I read on here. Don't worry there will be a cast of thousands at Leederville Oval next Saturday.

By the way my estimate for the crowd at Basso last Saturday was about 600. Personally I don't believe any of the ground attendances published.

We can go on and on about the crowds but they're not going to get any better.
It's all about TV ratings nowadays.
