JD you are still yet to provide the following despite being asked to do so....

-the AFL games tally's for each country boy recruited from the each WAFL club (one would think it being relevant to the subject to see the clubs that have successfully provided the pathway for the country boys to make it into the national comp)
-also still yet to provide the percentages of local zone content players at each WAFL club (both country and METRO)
-also still yet to provide the WAFL club with no interstate recruit this season?

You have a beef with WP for a personal reason and obviously have a love of country boys footy development which is to be commended by the way, yet you had the opportunity to take your personal concerns to the President of that particular club in person at the Prelim Final and failed to do so....bizarre.

It all comes back to dollars. Six clubs have such tight margins. It all starts at the top, if the afl put as much focus on funding all tiers of footy as much as they did for the top one everyone would win. How long will they persist with propping up the several clubs that run at a loss and look likely to continue to run at a loss into the distant future? How much did Bryan Adams and the other Sheila get paid to sing at the grand final for absolutely no benefit to the game at all - probably the equivalent of the entire wafl salary cap.

BH tell us who SD AFL listed country boys are then?...starting with WCE and Freo mate, the suspense is killing me.....from an EF perspectice the only ones I can think of are Sandilands, Kennedy and Cripps......pretty sure the likes of Yeo, Masten, Sheppard, Ibbottsen Griffen, Duffy, Lucas and McPharlin are all townies.....could be wrong though. .....at other AFL clubs,Taylor and Cripps are Gero boys, both Marsh boys are country boys but from EP country zone ...Allirr is from another country altogether...Hooker, Jansen and JJ are all townies....anyone else?

A lot more money floating around in country football for above average players. If you consider effort involved for country football up against WAFL demands of a player it must be tempting to return when the going gets tough in the city league. As TOO said...sadly football is all about money to so many in today's environment

Looks like providing those WA country boys AFL games tally's for this season is proving too difficult for JD despite me even naming the Swans boys for him.
Maybe to give a better balance rather than just 2015 he could list the previous couple of seasons WAFL country boys game tally's. I know from Swans alone League regulars from last year we had 3 country boys drafted to the AFL plus the Jetta boys retired back to Bunbury not to mention N.Blakely & Ugle had injury free seasons that would be close to 100 games lost from last season alone but that would also skew JDs figures!

A simple search would have found that young Cody is from Canning Vale in the East Fremantle zone so not him. Also I would like to know where exactly I have stated any player is "twice as good as Lourey and Keitel put together".

I thought this place would be a great place to bring up an adult discussion about which clubs are neglecting their country zones but an adult discussion is obviously out of you reach. I don't know if guilt has something to do with it considering Swan Districts have one of the lowest country zone representation.

I have promised his family that I will now name him as it will embarrass and put a too high expectation on him. Leedy I suggest if you can't help yourself and really want to know I suggest you contact the club as they know. In the last week they have tried to make things difficult for him to move to another WAFL club.
