UNKA2 the swing yesterday WAS SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER than the normal swin at a by-election caused by a death of a sitting member.

To be sure! To be sure! We will need to wait until all votes are counted but the swing (two party preferred) currently stands at 6.42%. Historically the average swing in Federal by-elections between 1949 and 2014, resulting from the death of a sitting member is 2.5% (two party preferred). Nevertheless a win is a win!

Did I read someone say the costs of 8 dollars for a cup of canned beer!? Surely not 8 $ for a cup?
The entry price does seem steep considering only one Wafl team was playing. Would imagine the same pricing applies for the Grand Final? With 2 Wafl teams in the big match, the pricing does seem fairer but still going to be a huge burden on families.
One would hope the pricing for next years finals (and beyond) is not as excessive!

At one stage they were pouring out of king browns wag....I guess they turned to cans after they ran out of KB's.... $8 for a plastic cup full of Carlton draught is taking the piss I agree but in thinking about it things could have been worse...at the WACA they make you drink midstrength.

this is fascinating stuff 42...how would you determine how much each club received? Subi had its reserves side playing so would it get the same as say WP, or FART or WART who also had one side playing on the day? and would your beloved bogans get twice as much because they had two sides playing? this is fantastic...I can't wait to see how it would all work...
