he doesnt need to get over it, he pays his money at the gate everyweek to go see a WAFL game so that entitles him to an opinion on things that happen and affect the WAFL.
its the people that dont do that who can take their opinions elsewhere.

They are a very good chance to finish 2nd for mine, how fucked is it going to be if they get a 2nd chance and v Subi in a GF, 10K max at the GF if so.

Tiger of old wrote: Yep, the finals is where the boys from the peel and east perth zones may get their best opportunities for a game. How's the irony in that.
Ryan Crowley may also make his peel debut in September.

The mighty midget will be back for Peel maybe as well, back home Alabama, down south and inbred!

Freezin wrote: True my comments may lack logic but the only logic I see from you mate is one totally blinkered with your beloved SD interests at heart ....42 you are only pissed at this alignment deal because SD dont get to keep their local boys drafted by either Freo or WCE.....if Pearce, Hughes, Newman and Blakely were suiting up for SD most weeks instead of Peel / EP you wouldnt be so anti alignment at all.....we get it .......SDFC produced these kids and if they are going to play WAFL than it should be with SD and only SD.........as much as SD wish to keep a hold on to their local produce they spent hours and money nuturing for their own gain, Freo/WCE want to control the on field direction of the players they pay vast amounts of money to.......it is a stalemate.....the alignment is what it is....

......and no I am not an alignment lover, EF have been stung the most since this alignment has been concocted.....Griffen kicking 3 goals in Peels recent 4 goal victory over EF was frustrating to see.....but until the AFL fund a reserves comp separate from the WAFL, SANFL and VFL I am not too sure where else these AFL "in waiting" players go and play footy......can you?

Freezin if we didn't have such a GUTLESS and SPINELESS WAFC then the host club alignment would not have happened. It is complete and utter nonsense that the only way for AFL aligned players to be developed is for them to be in a host club alignment. It completely destroys the integrity of the WAFL competition; something which you would think the WAFC would hold dear to their hearts and to be the raison d'etre for their very existence.

What sort of competition will we be if come WAFL GF and "Peel" have made it and Freo are in the AFL GF and Freo hold back 5-10 AFL aligned players from a Sunday WAFL GF?

What part of the WAFC only being interested in the two local AFL franchises dont you get Swan?

The WAFC are there soley for the benefit of them not SDFC or SFFC, If you havent garnered the fact now that the wce and dorks are driving this bus by now, I really dont know when you will?

Talk about recycling. Be careful Freez, you will become a pariah with this lot.
A question was asked a fair time ago about why Peel people don't come here to post... there is the reason. Need I say more.
Again we are assuming that the poster is a Peel supporter. Maybe he is not, and just a football lover.
I wonder when people will realise that this topic is dead and buried, because their is an alignment whether you like it or not, but the same old bullshit keeps being recycled over and over and over again. Especially by Swan42. He must weep into his corn flakes every morning bemoaning the fact that his FORMER Swans players are no longer that
FFS get over it.

A/man you may or may not be an apologist for G Walton et al. I most certainly am not nor do I intend to apologise for my strident opposition to the host club alignment. Also, I will not let pass the complete nonsense some are suggesting that it will be an historic event for Peel to make the league finals this season. Under no circumstances is it reasonable to suggest that it is a Peel team. Unlike you A/man I have an active interest in the WAFL competition; hence my comments. On the other hand your interest in the WAFL is limited to what?

Well I think we all know that travelling down to Centrelink-Crackpipe Park won't be an issue in a year or so because Fremantle will be operating out of Beeliar from then on
Highly likely there'll be a name change too & that horrible stagnant dunny water green jumper will be history as well
As for delusional ?
It is a very deluded individual who thinks & believes that the two AFL mobs care less about their current players because at the end of the year the chop & flick will see more castoffs forever forgotten
The chew up then spit out cycle starts all over again

So you see there won't be any problem with local development then

A/man I presume you weren't at Rushton Park yesterday; did you happen to watch the game on TV? If you did watch the game, do you think that Peel Thunder would have won the match if they didn't have 15 AFL aligned players?

The answer to that question is pretty obvious Swan42. By the way Anchorman the person who posted on the thread who I replied to did identify him/herself as a Peel supporter if you reread the post.

Also I would have thought that if you vehemently disagree with a policy or decision in politics you just wouldn't sit back and accept that it was the "way of the world" and just get on with it. You would continue to object to the policy and push for it to be changed. That is exactly what people on this thread who oppose the alignment are doing. Nothing changes if people give up and remain silent.

Mikeh rest assured I won't be letting the host club alignment go until the decision is made to reverse the decision.
