......good article in The Age about the kid who moved over east to further his footy career and more importantly his life.....well done to the kid............doing well in Ballarat......shoe in for a draft pick apparently.......be interested to see who gets the draft money BH ......not your basic youngster transfer with a draft fee clause attached is it?......sounds like North Ballarat Rebels landed on their feet here.

Swan Districts FC should be getting the draft money for Eades as he is a Swans boy and is still on our list so why wouldnt we in your esteemed opinion freeze? In that Age article you speak of did it mention who actually instigated the move to St Patricks ...or?

Still a swans players, took the right advice to move and get away from Perth or he would have been playing for our ammo team.

The article says the AFL(?) actually instigated the move BH.....of course SD should get the money or some share of it....don't be so farkin sensitive, I have no doubt SDFC have/had done their best to support the kid..probably still doing so right now...I am just pleased all folk around him saw the bigger picture and the kid is still playing footy....so in my esteemed opinion I think what SDFC did for the kid was unselfish and fantastic....hopefully SD get some due reward for supporting the kid in his move instead of thinking of themselves and dragging their feet......especially in today's dog eat dog footy business!!.......

Swans had no intention of thinking of themselves or dragging their feet as he wouldnt have been playing for Swans if he stayed in Perth.

Be great if the WAFL site does live stats for the 18's game v SA.....does anyone know if they will?.... I see the state game will have live stats and streaming.....surely if they do colts and reserves games they could do a state u/18's game

MO only you have said that, The Age article certainly never did........and I never ever said SD tried to make him stay.....wouldnt of blamed them for trying though, especially since they did a great job with Garlett before his Hawthorn implosion.........yes I understand that you believe the kid wouldnt of stayed at SD this year, but TBH that is just your opinion, unless you're Eades himself or his Auntie,...all you are saying is pure speculation TBH.

you need to go and re-read the article and think a bit more about what wasnt written in the article but was implied.

like why he wasnt allowed to go to the USA with the AIS.

and re-read what i wrote and said if Eades had of remained in Perth he would have been with Swans, but the ammo team or something similar not the wafl one.
