What's the go with the state 18s? We lost young Sam Petrovski seton out of our league side something like three weeks ago to the state 18s but as far as I know there is no state footy that's been happening.

ToO there has been a process of having a series of scratch matches for the squad.

They seem to be putting a lot more effort this year into getting the group together and working with them. Hopefully they will play like a team this year as oppposed to the last effort which was all abt ME!

Yep they have gone a bit quiet on the WAFL site.. The post they have on is out of date now with selections etc.

I know a couple of WP players have now been included in the Squad since the original list
but this New list hasnt come out.

The State 18's are playing the curtain raiser at the State game V SA.
Which is going to make for a great way for us to see them in this hitout.

Certainly taking 9 players out of Swans' league and colts' team has had an impact.

Does anyone know what time the match starts?

Saturday 23 May – 11am – WA v SA (Lathlain Park)

Sunday 31 May – 12pm - WA v Vic Country (Medibank Stadium)

Saturday 6 June – 12pm - SA v WA (AAMI Stadium)

Saturday 13 June – 11.20am - WA v Vic Metro (Domain Stadium)

Friday 26 June – 2:35pm - Vic Metro v WA (Simonds Stadium) – FOXTEL

Thursday 2 July – 1.15pm - Vic Country v WA (Simonds Stadium) – FOXTEL

ef have a total of 9 players as well...only 1 of them has been able to play colts the past 2 weeks though

42...... How has it impacted on the SD league side?.....yeah your colts certainly....but not your league team? ......pretty sure since the state boys were put into cotton wool 3 weeks ago, Ridley has only missed last weeks league game v Subi.....he played in the Cl loss and the Peel win......

EF colts have certainly stepped up by beating two teams in the five who have had minimal players out to the state squad.....great to see young Joey Eardley get a go from the EF 16's team......kicked 2.3 out of EF 6.16 on Sat......be interested to see how the state boys go this year......they were very disappointing last year that's for sure.

Thanks Strono for next Saturday's time.

Like who mate?......Chad Daniels perhaps but I think his impact would be limited....Ridley is a better footballer and the kid has done well with out being mind blowing like Cogniglio or Blakely were in their day.....think you are over rating these boys some what.......be interested to see how they go on Sat v SA.......no doubt you guys are claiming Eades as well
