The whole thing is just a ccck up and it's only just started! As previously stated, it's a great decision for big business and we've all been let down by the football commission and the two said clubs. :(

I've said it before on footygoss but the wafl club presidents need to look at two things. Firstly, the wafc has shown itself to be compromised and biased. Because of this the presidents should be seeking a meeting with the sports minister.
Secondly they should be getting a lawyer to appear with them at all negotiations.

Spot on mate.. I have a funny feeling legal action will be next. The whole issue stinks and I am sure there could be a good case put forward.

You should write one to Barry Hall... He seems to have a soft spot for West Perth, and in turn Julia seems to have a sport spot for Barry :P

Atleast this PM knows who Swan Districts FC are George.

Listening to Raponi with Hagdorn it appears the WAFL want to work with WAFC to make this happen. WAFL Clubs simply want to know the rules and regulations to which the WAFC have signed up them up for.
The WAFC could simply could have said NO to the AFL clubs, its not like they are failing to improve!

Heres the article from the West to read it in full

au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/-/spor...l-open-slather-call/

Furious WAFL presidents will seek legal advice after the WA Football Commission told them East Perth and Peel could field up to six interstate recruits and have no restrictions on the number of AFL players each week when they align with West Coast and Fremantle in 2014.

The presidents are also incensed that any disgruntled Thunder or Royals players would be subjected to transfer fees if they sought more opportunities at other clubs.
