Mr Panda, this one is for you.
Round 14 this week sees every team from inside the top5 play a team outside. Will we see the battle for relegation heat up or fade away. Can all teams currently in the top 5 cement their place and guarantee finals. All will be revealed come 5pm Saturday afternoon.
Kelmscott v Coolbinia West Perth
Last time they met
Kelmscott 18.15 123 def Coolbinia West Perth 7.7 49
Kelmscott still occupy 2nd place on the ladder, however they have been on the slide as a whole club recently, after forfeiting reserves 2 weeks ago. They have now forfeited colts 2 weeks in a row. CWP will be looking to win to not only still keep hopes of a finals birth alive, but to avoid the possibility of relegation. On a side note, this could be a real chance for CWP to get a reserves win. I think CWP can get the win here.

Kingsley v Ocean Ridge MOTR
Last time they met
Ocean Ridge 16.7 103 def Kingsley 7.4 46
In my opinion this is match of the round. a local derby never disappoints. Kingsley had been on the improve since the half way mark of the season. They still sit 9th on the ladder but are slowly winning enough games to avoid relegation. Onion Ridge will be desperate to win as a loss could see them slip outside the 5. Or lose and they can stay in the 5 fall 2 games behind 4th spot. I think the Kingsley boys will win here and breathe life into the battle for 5th spot and relegation.

Melville v Gosnells
Last time they met
Melville 16.12 108 def Gosnells 13.6 84
Melville is another team who are on the improve in the second half of the season. They continue the charge towards the finals and if the winning streak continues, 3rd spot and a double chance isn't out of the equation. Gosnells slipped outside the 5 and copped a hiding last week from Kingsley. They could slip further behind if results go against them. I think Melville will be to strong here
Melville by 5 goals.
Thornlie v Kingsway
Last time they met
Kingsway 16.12 108 def Thornlie 3.9 27
Kingsway had a good win last weekend against Kelmscott but still sit behind them in 3rd place on the ladder. I'm sure by season end they may finish 2nd but who can be sure. Thornlie almost appear destined for relegation however you can't write them off just yet. I think they may spring a few suprise wins together. I like a good upset and who better to best than Kingsway. I'm tipping Thornlie to get a win here.

Wanneroo v Lynwood Ferndale
Last time they met
Wanneroo 18.14 122 def 9.3 57 Lynwood Ferndale
Wanneroo still sit atop the C1 ladder undefeated after 13 round and 4 games clear of 2nd place. Finals are guaranteed and if Kelmscott and a Kingsway lose this weekend 1st on the ladder is assured. Lynwood can still make the finals, but a loss here can see them slip into the relegation danger zone. Wanneroo will be looking to keep the streak alive and I think that can happen.
