Brownlow medallist, Simpson medalist, and I think perhaps a Tassie Medalist... Just a guess jack but I'd be saying that's why he's referred to as a legend?

jack -- out of interest, whom would you rate as a legend?
Can you name one from each club, please.

a couple of more points on Hardie:
he was club captain
fairest and best
club leading goal kicker

The only awards he did not win was Simpson in the grand final and the Sandover
Hence, he would clssify to be a legend of WA football.
