Not sure about the mess the Cardy is talking about. Freo and Eagles 1 and 2 on ladder. State side unbeaten under alignment. Crowds steady. TV ratings up. EP making huge profits. Peel in finals. Aligned clubs running almost at a 50/50 win loss. Different premier last 2 seasons. G7 stable squads rather than afl listed players in and out.

I can understand Swans and Souths fans being disappointed but there's always next season.

WP will be favs for sure but not over the line yet. If we lose I'd be confident of knocking off EP or Tigers the next week.

Dont agree with your 2nd paragraph.. For a start dont really give FARK about the Dockers and Eagles..Hard to get TV ratings when they dont do all the games. EP making profits... yeh understandable when they dont pay out like the G7 CLUBS do with admin,players, Support staff etc etc.
I agree 2 GF being won by G7 CLUBS over Aligned clubs but the difference is the G7 clubs play as a team and as the old saying goes. A Team of champions will always beat a champion team. The G7 clubs play for each other and have a passion for their club something the Aligned teams will never have as they only play for themselves.

Best of luck in the finals - NOT Your success will depend on the AFL coaches and who they rest.. nothing more.

congrats to Cl on fighting back from a 0-5 start.....gutting for SD but I guess no one to blame but themselves I guess, that loss to WP are being a few goals up with minutes to play ultimately came back to haunt them.....tough learning curve, but one no doubt Harding and the SD players are good enough and big enough to take on the chin and learn from ....hopefully the SD fans will be down Basso to party long into the night, like last weekend, the efforts of their players this season......

Freezin if you have been following Swans as long as I have you understand that there will be the bad times as well as the good times. For those Swans' supporters who were privileged to watch the boys last week it will help carry us through the long summer. Also, we still have our ressies, who have been really good this year, and our colts to follow through the finals.

One other point about last week's game showed just how much Tim Geappen meant to the players at Swans as they attempted to give him at least one more game in the mighty black and white jumper.

What was the average number of Freo players who played for the host club aligned WAFL club? With upwards of 12 Freo players playing in the WAFL most weeks the Peel reserves team won how many games?
