Cooper has strong credentials but is there issues with his occupation as a punter
Valentine spent time at the club and is well regarded
Michael Broadbridge could be a smokey if he is interested. Experience with his time at the Tigers and an ex player
Adrian Hickmott also a thought but probably prefers his place at west coast
Luke Dwyer was close for east freo job but now working with EP under his role at west coast

Could there be some big names over east that would be interested ...

Gary Ayres at Port Melbourne
Martin Mattner at Sturt
Chad Cornes at Port
Gary hocking at South Adelaide

With a full advertisement who knows who could apply

Exciting times for SDFC and a big decision for the powers to be

With respect to Adrian Hickmott: the same as Dean Cox - seriously?????????????

Also, it WILL BE a part time job only.

If it is indeed a part time job offer surely the AFL guys that keep getting mentioned will look on and guys like Coops who already have their own avenues of income will really be in the mix. Your point about his line of work Tiger is an interesting one but pretty sure he is already heavily scrutinised. As long as the algorithms don't get applied to and invested in footy results I see no problem.

Can't see any of the SA guys mentioned being interested- most of them are full time over there.

I'm not sure who is floating around, but you'd think the club would be doing plenty of work behind the scenes. What about Kepler Bradley?

Better employ an ex eagle if we want cheap free kicks :-)

Good to see you still hanging your hat on ex EF boy Woewodin still BH....being an ex Brownlow winner he certainly knows how to win over the umps...not so sure in the forward 50 tho?

Woewodin would definitely be a strong candidate I would say. He seems to talk sense when he is on the radio and he has gathered a fair bit more coaching experience since his days at East Fremantle. I would prefer him over someone like Malaxos.

Sounds like Swans are compiling a list of candidates and approaching instead of advertising...

"Several other potential senior coaches in waiting have been building their stocks within the WAFL...."

Then names Adam Pickering- who else are they talking about within WAFL level?
