Bloody oath I do - the groans from the crowd & then seeing the two of them actually get up hahaha

The other one about Ronny was the famous punch up game against Claremont and Mossy - geez that was unreal , and the ump reported Mossy hahahaha

Ah the 80's :cheer:

Jealous Southy....I just missed that era although was listening on the radio from about 6 years of age. What I'd have given to see Phil Narkle and Maurice in their prime

Yep just loved those days, bottom of the ladder, struggling for wins, top teams with cash poaching our best, Randall, Kenny Marshall et al, hell we can't even crack a mention in Southerners signatures list! Ah them were the days ;)

If your Head Office hadn't been so drastically incompetent to the point where you were 2 years past insolvent you wouldn't have had to sell those players you mentioned & that my friend is fact

Sounds like what recently happened to Swan Districts

Freeze I hope you are not trying to have a "laugh" at young Nuich expense as you may want to take that comment back taking into account his current situation ...as low a blow as I can remember or is that just some more of that so called "banter" you bang on about incessantly!?

BH...even I know tall youngsters take longer to mature....still waiting on my fave young EF tall in Tyler Chalwell to build on his 1000 game plus reserves apprenticeship :pinch: ....no malice in my comments....more surprised you didn't mention Simmo's 26 possession 1st half performance last weekend though....26 possessions is pretty impressive for half a game....like I said no wonder why SD struggled to add much to their half time goals.

just curious still as to what G-1 means by more KP players to return soon?...no harm in asking the question is there?...seems pretty obvious all your KP players were available TBH...as we know Blakely won't be returning any time soon.....any way with SD well talked up development program and being reigning 2015 runners up in the lower grades, I really thought SD much heeded injury 'crisis' surely would be covered better than most WAFL clubs.....is it as bad as you guys are making out?....just seeking something honesty from you guys and a balanced discussion that's all....you guys just seem to lack objectivity when it comes to the SDFC at time....no criticism just an observation ;)....anyway back to the banter...... SD by 3 pts this weekend :P

Two very gifted guys Dirty - Phil was very good at evading an oncoming tackler , Beasley loved him getting the pill coz he was already on the lead & it usually hit him lace up smack on the chest

Wow so much interest in a game between the top and bottom teams. Must be a bye this weekend for East Fremantle and Subiaco? Wait a minute.

actually mikeh you had to wait 100 mins for a reply mate ;) .....isn't a good thing neutral fans are giving this game between the comps strongest and weakest two sides, some yarning time....the comp is in apparent decline and TBH another 2 - 3 goal performance like SD gave v SF last time and EP last week will definitely be another kick in the guts for the WAFL comp as a whole....touch wood my prediction of a 3 pt SD, win will breathe some life into the comp from an entertainment perspective at least......

Mikeh are 3 goal match performances enhancing the WAFL reputation as a 2nd tier comp on par with the VFL and SANFL?.....fingers crossed not only SF, but also SD KP players lighten up the games score sheet on Sat.....

naagh DW, just feel for SD plight at present mate....so many injuries....so unjust ;)

actually believe SD KP players in Ames, Howard, Simpson are the very few in the comp at present who could do jobs on Saunders, Shaw, Johnson et al.....though Riggio has got his work cut for himself locking horns with the likes of cook, Hockey and Hams on his lomesome....plus Notte can be in so many places at the one time during a match....but hey footy is a game full of surprises I guess.....I hope!

'84 still gets to you mate :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: "can't give teams a 10 goal start" Ron Alexander post match interview gold :P :P :P

....and to keep this relevant to topic lets hope my mob don't allow SF a 10 goal start this weekend. Would be nice to still be in the game at quarter time for once ;)
