In all honesty freeze would love to have both back but unfortunately when our boys get drafted they usually have long careers in the AFL unlike some other clubs who get the 35k fee and then the same player back in a year or 2! :pinch:

What like Dayle Garlett?????

mate every WAFL club has those sorts of draftees.....reckon Cl get more than there fair share back like that though....reckon Rance would have to be up there as one of SD successful draftees in the last decade.....Natanui and Walters in close proximity....TBH Davis looks average at the next level up tho, I have him in my dream team and he has done fark all..... reckon you guys dodged a bullet with Crowley.....saw him play v Port a few weeks back god he looked terribly slow......

Freeze I was never in favour of picking up Crowley full stop and yes he does look like his days have passed at that level. Davo is playing as a defensive forward on the oppositions running half backs mate a role he wouldnt have played a lot of definitely not with us and yeah that isnt going to help your dream team nor mine! :pinch:

Crowley 24 and 2:2 for Essendon VFL last weekend. I'd take that.

I did see that MD and I have no doubt he would still be a decent player at WAFL level like he obviously is in the VFL I personally just didn't think it would be a good fit for our club due to his recent past history. In my opinion we should be putting the feelers out NOW to the likes of Armfield, Ellard & other Swans boys who are likely to be delisted or heading home at years end!

Hate to say it BH but feelers won't stop the likes of these blokes ending up at Subi if they do decide to head back to WA to continue playing. We just can't afford them. Ellard strikes me as the coaching type so maybe an avenue there but otherwise I'm not so clear as to what our club has to offer or can offer to lure any returning ex-players back in with except banking on some long lost concept of loyalty to one's roots. Money is king today unfortunately

Yep that's the landscape at the moment DW unfortunately although everyone bar the $ disciples & the WAFC must wonder how you can afford to fit a zillion high priced recruits into/under a "$alary Cap" but I guess that's the advantages of pitch forking isn't it!

Any changes this week for the West Perth game?. Disappointing result for the reserves yesterday and only a few seemed to stand out looking at the stats. Blight's fitness will be a concern and there were a few other guys with ice packs at the end of the game. Logan Hughes and Ben Whitsted gathered a lot of possessions and would be in line at the selection table. Would Banfield have a chance of returning this week or should he do a week in the ressies? Wilson and Riddoch may also be worth a look.

This is a real opportunity for our 2nd win because of West Perths crippling injury list.

BH it is my understanding that David Ellard has already committed to Swans for the 2017 season. With respect to Crowley don't you think that our young group of midfielders would not have gained enormous benefit that Crowley would have been able to pass on to them?

TOSG, in a preemptive strike try, to desist from your typically vacuous comments. They are neither wanted nor needed.
