Sorry Perth will be 1-2 after today..1-3 after next Sat. Hope I`m wrong though as I like Perth and hope to see them expand on their one win so far, not against us though

If it's not his son playing footy, out comes the boat.

Nasty day to be doing that, with the stiff breeze, unless he has a Yacht, :silly:

WTF are you on about no wonder they banned you from one of the Bomber forums, if only you had children you would understand your way out of your depth when it comes to that subject .

Absolutely stoked for the boys. To win that game after putting in an awful first quarter is a testament to their character and never say die attitude. Obviously we were assisted by Claremonts appalling kicking for goal but that is part of the game and Swans nailed the shots that mattered in the end.

Every player in the Swans team stood up to be counted today but one guy I wanted to mention who has grown an incredible amount in 3 weeks has been young Yukich. Its amazing what an opportunity can do for a player and he did some really important things today at vital times and gave a good contest at centre bounces. Great also to see Ricky Cary taking some contested marks again. Clutterbuck is running into some form now and will be very handy as the season goes on.

Any win is great but after the last few weeks this victory is particularly important for the confidence of the group. It also highlights the folly of writing off a team after 3 games.

Gutsy Gutsy win today by the boys.

They could have easily had folded after quarter time, though I think Harding would have had to been restrained.

Really should not have taken an all out fire & brimstone dress-down by the coach to get the boys to wake up and play but happy to really see the effort.

It was nice to see the effort, the passion the boys played with after the first quarter.

Dean was a joy to watch I thought and he uses the ball so very well.
While I have been hard/down on Ricky at times I thought he stood tall today too.

Well done to the boys and well earned win.
Now we need to keep that effort and string a few wins together.

Mikeh it was a very significant win today and showed that perhaps our season may not be as grim as I thought it was going to be. Concur with you about Yukich. There were some other very positives from the match today including Cary's great game today.

I don't know whether you watched the colts' game today but Claremont's poor kicking was the same as our colts' goal kicking. The only difference was we were able to hold on for a win.

If this is the last day of ozfooty at least us Swans' supporters can bask in the glow of a great win.
