Did not go today listened on KIX Digital and watched Ryan Davis V Essendon.Also wanted to see how all the new Bombers players ie Crowley went.Two shockers now and the rain might of saved us from a total hiding today.
Have been thinking something all summer but never put it on paper.In the last two years Tim Geappon was just going well below his prime.But to me Tim was such an amazing on field leader.He would of been going off today if he had of been out there.Losing Tim and Ryan we need a forward line General,Our defence has a few leaders.

That's good news about the scoreboard MD, although I was quite happy not to be able to see the bloody thing today..... Wonder what the issue with Newman is? Didn't he play last week? I saw Tallen walking out to the group at 3 quarter time. Was wondering if he got concussed perhaps?

Thanks for the thought Southerner. Your guys played well. It was the lowest score in Swans 82 year history so the scoreboard was pretty shocking really. As you said though there's always next week.

Hard to replace injured or departed players in one hit - we at South know that full well in recent times and it is bloody tough to take as a roots supporter going for the ride with it

I don't know why anyone is complaining about the scoreboard! It's better than the one at Leederville!
Ames supposedly has a slight strain but he was in slacks by half time so doubt he will be up for next week but he thinks he will be.

We would've lost by 15+ goals today if it was dry,totally outclassed.

I thought it was a bad move to play a spare in the 1at quarter! Every time we went Foward we were outnumbered. Maybe it was evidence even outer coach thought we were up against it.

TBH unless it is something serious like life and death I would give Newman an open clearance tomorrow! Twice he has let the whole club down now

No excuse for lack of effort though at times! An embarrassing day all round

Absolutely disgraceful performance again today following on from last week. About the only positive so far this season was the debut from Yukich today who had 50 hitouts and 12 possies. The list of negatives is a mile long as is our mounting injury toll. For the second week in a row our midfield possessions and inside 50s have been half of what our opponents have had ...not good enough!
