Freddie is playing for SD this year, he is fucked off with the alignment at EP and wants to play league footy, handy!! Plus a childhood SD fan

Grump would you think that is a good pick-up for us?

I was pretty impressed with him when I saw him playing against Swans. You would have to think that anybody with 100 league games experience would be a good pick up for a relatively inexperienced group. I would be very surprised if East Perth didn't put up a huge fight to keep him, so Swans may struggle to get him cleared.

Can remember a Sd V Ep league game in the south west a few years back.Freddie thrashed Swans on his own that day.Really good pick up for Swans,hope East Perth do the right thing by Fred and let him go.

Freddie had an less than average preparation last year, a few injuries and come the end of the season was disheartened when others were picked before him, not just weagles.

Freddie when fit and in the right space is a B+ WAFL player and he will be a good fit as a wing mid fielder for the Swannies.

He is a great person who right from colts was mischievous but switched on. I am pleased for him to be able to pursue his career at Swans and hope that the outcome is a great one for him and the club.

He has given EP loyal service and sees his future elsewhere.

He isn't the first this year and he won't be the last in the years to come, but it is not just the alignment that is a factor but not the reason.

The corollary of his move is that again opens up a place for a younger player to display their wears which exactly what I predicted with the alignment, as mature players left after good service they would be good pick ups for others.

geez I thought everyone was seeking equalization for the Perth footy Club?....surely in the spirit of a better comp, the WAFC should of "encouraged" Freddie to suit up for the PFC instead of the SDFC......it's not as though SD need someone of Freddies ilk is it?....they have lots of experience, lots of talented youth, depth through all 3 grades and a fantastic coaching and development set up....oh well maybe next year eh?

Like Perth need him Freeze because according to some media I saw the other day Perth have the best midfield in the comp!

Who knows, might be something to do with ex team mates Wityk and Slater being at the club

Grassy he was always going to to swans if he left, and I was aware of the chance at the end of last year
