Great news for him, but I'm selfishly disappointed as a Swan..doesnt surprise as he is one of the comps few genuine matchwinners

Massive loss for the Ducks, our best player but he is good enough to be playing afl so hope he gets some games.
No $$ for Davo as has been drafted before but Lynch and Glass-McCasker earn the club some more money and good luck to them.
We also got another sling for Ethan Hughes getting upgraded so maybe we can use it to recruit someone.

Bank the money and keep developing I reckon, we have dominated proceedings in this area across the comp and these draft results confirm that!

Keep on doing what you are doing down there are Basso, the development of young players seems to be working.

Hopefully other WAFL clubs will take it on board and realise that if you give these young player opportunities they will take them, instead of chasing hired guns.

Yes congratulations to the other Swans boys who were named as well. Davo of course will be a massive loss for us, but he has worked his guts out for the club over a number of years when he could have gone to another club for more money. I am delighted for him that he gets another opportunity at AFL level and I will watch his progress with great interest.

Great news for Davo...did a massive pre season in14/15 and the results and rewards have shown. Hope he gets a run over there and a chance to show how much he has improved 2nd time round at AFL level.

Congrats to the other boys Jesse and Brad....particularly pleased to see Lynchy get his shot. Up there for the worst hair cut in WAFL footy in 2015 but improved outta sight through 2015 and was probably our best on the day in the losing GF side . Kudos to Trent and the support coaches for playing him in the right role to aid his development all year. Did notice the great Percy Johnson have a tight mentoring relationship with this kid in particular during the season with much friendly banter between the 2 of them. Great result here for Lynchy which I'm sure will have Percy grinning from ear to ear.

Will add I'm kinda surprised whilst being close to dumbfounded that Hackett hasn't been picked up. These other 2 boys definitely deserve and earned their shot but to me Hackett was the pick of the bunch of all our colts boys. This kid just knows how to play footy. Hope he sticks at it continues to improve and doesn't give up on the dream in 2016.
