Took at trip down to Steel Blue on Monday and their was a good turn out of blokes even though it was 40 degrees. Lots of league regulars missing Davis, Rogers, Anderson,Banfield hopefully they are playing in 2015.

Brett Robinson was tearing it up and was finishing time trials at least 100m ahead of the nearest guy. If he stays on the park our mid will be very dangerous and he will cover the loss of drafted guys.

Banfield was talking about going to NZ with with his missus and wasnt sure on playing.
few other boys probably on holidays this time of the year.

Banfield would have been a great pick-up as he plyed his trade crumbing to Jonno Brown and kicked a few himself.

Mark Olsen who do you see stepping up in 2015 from the ressies and colts??? Daniels x 2 and Dylan Nelson looked like they could handle the step up.

the colts were a pretty even team and I would think that those that stepped up and played good reserves footy in 2014 will be the ones to look out for - J.Daniels, Dean, Maguire in the midfield and Ridley and Nelson both looked pretty classy in their reserves games as forwards.
I hear they are all training hard so hopefully they can do well in reserves and league this year to improve our depth.

Yukich was a reserves player that improved last year and if Nuich gets over his injuries will be a handy player, I rate him better than Latch but he never gets on the park.
Kirkup is another that shows a bit.

Scooped every award last year in the colts comp and has some great skills. Maguire looks like he's put on some bulk over the summer. I was impressed by Nelson in the GF with his marking in the pissing rain.

whilst it's not the be all or defining point in ones career interesting to note for all Deans awards last year,can anyone at SD shed some light on why he didnt get drafted?...did he even play in the state carnival?....I know Alby aint big but I'm pretty sure he is taller than Caleb Daniel who the WBD drafted......is it a speed thing?....be interested to see how adjusts to senior footy this year.

Who was the fella who was BOG in your colts GF win?.....read some good wraps for him...is he one of those Daniels boys you fellas rate?

He is Bunts grandson mate funnily enough as is his younger brother Chad another very promising youngster at the club!

yes, he may start the year in the colts but should play senior footy at some stage in 2015.
Ridley is the best of the kids still eliglbe for colts but expect him to play league from the start, son of Paul the ex Royal and Lion.

not sure if Warrick Wilson is playing on but he was a pretty handy from the games I saw.

Nelson is the nephew of Des Headland and Des gave him a kick up the backside last year to make something out of his footy.
