Supporting the Club
The Swansmen have always been about supporting Swan Dictricts Football Club. In the year to 31 October 2012, Swansmen Inc. made a direct and indirect contribution of more than $67,000 to the Club. ( Up 39% on last year)

Incidental contributions this year included $500 towards a camera for use with the colts and development squads and $ 1372 for polo shirts for the 16's development squads.

The Swansmen also support the junior cluc as sponsors of the year 9's Perpetual Trophy in the Swans' Districts Football Development Council.

The Swansmen Committee has joined with the Past Players & Officials Association to share the cost of a defibrillator for installation at the Football Club ready fot 2013 season. With a supporter base that includes quite a number of mature age, the relatively modest investment of $1,150 by the Swansmen is seen as insurance againts potentially life threatening conditions arising from close games.

Mission


(1) The objects of the Association are:

(a) To promote the game of Australian Rules Football generally in the area of the Club and in particular to preserve and advance the interests, welfare and stature of the Club;

(b) To raise funds by whatever means members think fit for the general purposes of the Club;

(c) To assist the Board of Directors or other committees of the Club;

(d) To assist in providing employment and business opportunities for players and members of the Club;

(e) To assist in providing an amenable social and business atmosphere for players and members of the Club;

(2) The property and income of the Association shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objects of the Association and no part of that property or income may be paid or otherwise distributed, directly or indirectly, to members, except in good faith in the promotion of those objects.

Company Overview

Swansmen are a group of dedicated Swan Districts supporters who raise
funds for the benefit of the football club. Their aim is to do this while
enjoying camaraderie and fellowship at the same time.

Monthly dinner meetings on the third Tuesday of each month with a variety of guest speakers.
We hold Annual Swansmen Luncheon Auction and a number of Raffles through out the year.

* Must be a 2013 SDFC Member to purchase
• Access to the Swansmen Lounge with a guest at all home games with a great
view in comfort.
• Ability to attend monthly dinner meetings on the third Tuesday of each

Yep all clubs have coterie groups eg: PP&OA
