and have another look at it. Dont mind comment and great to see but I think we are getting ahead of ourselves a bit...it could come down to the last round.. .Shit BIG round... maybe a playoff for 4th spot for a team and also a playoff for 2nd spot.
The WAFL is alive - dont you love it

Yes I'm hoping that there are a few more twists and turns left yet!! As you said it might look somewhat different next week. If South could upset the Eagles then that would change things a bit! As for the AFL,they would kill for an end to the season like this. The top 8 there has been decided for weeks!

Mate that would be a huge up v the royals,,,watched them demolish Perth , looked impressive, although its not out of the question ,,,I'd prefer our chances v a deliptadec Perth In he last game.

Mikeh, you do raise a good point. Sharks are where they are through poor footy so the Falcons deserve to be where they are with their recent good winning run. Falcons have the luxury to drop a game but Sharks have to win 10 in a row to win the flag. And if anybody can tell me the last time they won that many in a row then you are a WAFL footy legend. Dead set.

I thought that we were the underdogs going in to this game & I was hoping for a 2-3 goal win if things went well. The 12 goal win was an unexpected bonus & is effectively worth 2 games to us. If we can beat Swans by even a slender margin next week it would be virtually impossible for Swans to breach the percentage difference in the last round even if the results went in their favour.

A very pleasing result & I am glad to have been at the game to see it. This performance has been a long time coming but it is coming at the right time. I thought our use of the ball was excellent & I can't remember the team hand balling better than they did in the second half.

I was surprised with how much West Perth dropped off in the second half, but I would not write them off based on one poor performance.

I thought Dick did some good things today & contributed with 4 goals. But I saw him fail 2 commit on 3 or 4 occasions to a contest by either attempting to mark the ball or physically put his body on the line to contest the ball & as a result West Perth were able to clear the ball from defence.

ST I like a challenge so I had a look. In East Fremantle's last premiership year (1998) they only lost 2 games in the whole season, in rounds 5 and 6. After round 6, they then won no less than 16 games in a row, ending with a 43 point win over West Perth in the Grand final. They stretched it to 17 wins by beating Souths in round 1 in 1999, but the run was broken by Perth at lathlain in the next game

If we can beat Swans next week we could lose the final game against Claremont & still make the 4. If we lose against swans we can still make it if we beat Claremont in the last round & Swans lose to WP.

Whoopdee do, our one less newbie meant a 70 point difference. Tigers will be shitting bricks in the 2nd semi.

Your clearly a bit slow on the uptake ! 9 players missing.................if we play you at near on full strength (if you make the finals) I have nodoubts we will beat you.

Yep, congratulations, clearly the Falcons are the better team.

Mikeh, how do you know this stuff? I remember one year they started with 12 in a row but think that was mid 80's. The 1998 stat is one i should have known so thank you for that.
