In: Joyce. McDonald. Riach. Crichton

All played Senior football so you'd think that adds to the depth that has been a little short. Plus quality Colts in Browne and Cripps. I'm not sure where there's much to add. But you're right, you'd think we must be close to our maximum points. Other clubs haven't brought in many either.

According to the West, Joyce might be an In, and an Out!

Always expected WCE or Freo would look at someone like Joyce over the summer.....been in the system for 3 years, unlucky with injury since drafting, well worth a look at I guess and ready to hit the ground running......Browne and Dittmar in the running for a train on spot as well, both lads unlucky missing out at both drafts. I see Cripps Jnr is spending the summer at Carlton too.....always on the cards when he missed out at the draft and big brother is captain of the club......can't blame any of these boys for having a crack, disappointing for their respective  WAFL clubs, but part of footy I guess these days......time will tell who will get the nod, if any of them do......

ambrose ryan i believe has signed with west coast wafl

Talented but injury prone was Ambrose Ryan during his time with EF.....

Also seems like WCE are attracted to the EF honey pot over the summer.....with an odd array of possibilities in the mix apparently......thank fark only one spot is available.

 

Be interesting to see who wins that final WCE spot then....with Strnadica, Joyce and Browne in the mix .....definitely big boots for the club to fill if Strnadica gets that final spot.....opens the door of opportunity for Teakle to get some league footy...

A couple of new names on EF list....ex Essendon District league player Matt Williamson and ex EP colt Barton.....may need another ruckman though from the looks of things.....

Strnadica would be a huge loss. Good luck to him though- hope he gets a chance

It’s a double edged sword.  Naturally I’m hoping the best for him but gee, that’s gunna hurt.

Totally agree 58, happy for the young fella to get another crack at the big time, frustrating it won't be decided until just before the season starts, thus giving no time for EF to source another ruckman......lot of pressure on Teakle to develop and stay fit......nothing else in the EF rucking shed at present.....especially with Josh Cripps over in Victoria training with Carlton.......

Looks like with Sheppard concussion woes there could be two spots up for grabs now.....though heard young EP mid Kade Dittmar is starting training with WCE next week with Strnadica......not sure where that leaves Browne and Joyce....time will tell I guess.....but yep double edged sword indeed......
