I know the season isn’t quite over but here’s a thread for recruiting activity in the off season.

The Football Department had a big off season last year bringing in 6 and all look like winners. Chalmers and Schoenfeld only got 5-6 games in between them but both looked the good- Josh playing State footy.

only rumour I’ve heard is Harry Marsh back and that has been mentioned most of the year. No news on Hooker. Haven’t heard of any departures either besides Kommer retiring.

Any other Shark fans heard any rumours?

Be interesting to see if Dixon gets an AFL lifeline.....if so then surely a key forward would be a target.....didn't Monaghan say in a recent interview, EF wouldn't be going as hard recruiting wise in 22 compared to 21.....something about another quality mid.....which could be Harry Marsh....but hey the fella is on a good wicket finals wise at Subi.

Can't see Hooker coming back, pretty well ensconced in Melbourne, haven't heard whether Joyce has been delisted as yet, but he is young, good as English, so as a 1 pointer, would definitely be a handy get.....

One would think the likes of Snadden, Bonomelli and a few reserves boys would be looking else where for opportunities....colts wise, definitely will lose Williams and Browne in the draft with Warner, Woewodin, McVee and  Cripps all possibilities.....one would think the likes of Chalmers and Schoenfeld would be classed as recruits due to their 1 and 5 game seasons respectively this year.....plus getting Murdock back will be a plus too.....

Has Joyce been delisted? He’d be another good young addition to the midfield.

You’d think Snadden finds a home somewhere else but if Dixon did get picked up then the door for Bonomelli is still open- so he might stay.

I’m sure we’ll start to hear some names over the next few weeks

I like your optimism, boys, but Subi don't lose players they want to keep. If they let Marsh go, it will be because they figure, at 28 next year, his best footy is behind him and they have someone else in mind who they might need the points for. When was the last time Subi lost a top player to another WAFL club?

Premiership player Thomas Edwards-Baldwin last year to EP immediately springs to mind TN. He was definitely in our best 22 when he decided to jump ship.

I guess EF fans are optimistic the lure of playing with his brother might get Harry to come to EF. When Harry came back, Jonno moved to Melbourne to play.....also if Subi win the flag, that will be Harry's 2nd in three years at Subi, and he might like a new challenge before he retires.....who knows.....but definitely having Harry at EF, playing with Jonno, would put a smile on his granddads face....the great Ray Sorrell.

Edwards-Baldwin? The guy who averages 10 disposals and 1 goal a game? Just shows the resilience and depth of Subi that you were able to fill the gap left by his departure.

Jed Hagan and Kaleb Smith could well go in the draft too
