au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/a/257038...ge-of-quitting-wafl/

This is a massive loss for EP and for the WAFL in my opinion. WCE have 5 midfielders come into the club and pow, one of EP's most consistent mids in 2013 walks away! Not to mention the other mids who have now also walked away.

However the most resonating thing for me in this article is the comment from the EPFC Football Manager Mark Winnett - "He hasn't told us that he won't be playing at the club next year,"

There has been a fair bit of chatter around at how frustrated many EP players are about the way they have been treated by EPFC Management. I have heard a number of rumours about the lack of concern the club has for such players (given the alignment). For Winnett to make this comment after almost 6 weeks of pre-season training, adds a fair bit of weight to those rumours.

"He hasn't told us"??????? The fact that he has not been at training I would expect would make any competent Football Manager assume such a player will not be back. My question then would be, "What the hell have they done to retain him?" Obviously not much.

What else would you expect. The club is a shell of its former self. If perth take over after the 5 year contract as expected I'm done and dusted. Wouldn't even give it the time

Sacko, I would not even wish it on West Perth..... and that is saying something!!!! Devastating to see so many people leaving such a wonderful club.

Personally i dont know how you can blame a club for this dickheads actions.
What???did he think he wasnt going to be tested...AGAIN,obviously doesnt have much up top.
Also for him to think the public is that stupid as to why you would walk away is a disgrace!

...and Sacko i will be done and dusted with our club long before any alignment takes place.
Bad decision making all round is enough for me,2015 will prove to be just another piss poor one with the usual suspects coming coming out defending it!!!
Wooden spoon again with the nearest club 2nd bottom being 5 wins away from us is my tip for 2015.

Agree that you can't blame the club for an individual. The players get it hammered into them from day dot. If a player gets done, especially for a second time, then what really can they do other than watch them 24/7. That is not going to happen in the WAFL.

Just a shame, as he had a massive future that he burnt severely on the first attempt and then just as he was getting some credibility back, he burns himself again. Just can't tell some people.

The only real person to suffer will be him, he will look back in 20 years and even consider himself a damn fool.

Good riddance, nothing but a pain in the rear and a slow lazy player. Trained at his own pace and was never really self determined enough to advance to the AFL. Typical of today's youth, expect everything for very little. then he goes and does that stuff. a joke..

as a Subi supporter I can only comment on what I saw of Cadwallader in the 2014 GF. I remember thinking in the last 1/4 that no-one was running harder or having a bigger crack than him. He was the man who was going to get them over the line. History shows he didn't, but he was better than most of the AFL listed players for sure. Now this has happened, sadly this will probably be his demise. Slow and lazy? Not from what I observed.

What sort of axe do you have to grind, hellonewman? Pain in the rear to who? Slow-never.

One of East Perth's problems in the Grand Final is that they didn't have enough other players to follow his lead.

Every time I have seen him play, he has impressed me.

I would say he will be sadly missed if he is put out of the game.
