For what it's worth I loved his approach when in charge of the Perth two's a few years ago, he's a bit more old school doesn't mind giving a spray but also motivating. Good luck to him I think he will grow on the Swans faithful and win a few fans over. As I think LB or some EP supporter said he'll probably bring a few Royals boys with him.

No sulk here, im rapt at the decision. Been successful in his roles so far and will bring new ideas to us. His sure to conduct himself on match day better than the colts coach. Now that was a bad decision.

Not sure why others seemed to be angry at the decision. Is it because he is not a local?

The only one angry at this coaching appointment I have seen on here is Larry B!

LB explain your assertion or recant?

About time to decant Swan, that is my mail thought someone on the inside like Davo may confirm this. When I found out Pickering had been given the nod weeks ago I must admit I was unhappy.

Not sure who delivers your mail LB but whatever you got in the letter most likely had a version with some truth to it.At least the club has dealt with this and we move on to 2018 with fresh ideas and energy levels.

So I wasn't far off when I said earlier on this topic the bloke who rocks up to the interview in thongs, stubbie shorts, blue singlet and a carton of Emu Export will get the gig. Pickers must have got the memo.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

The guy mainly rants and carries on. The players will either buy into his 'standards' or it will go south very quickly.

I maintain that we got the second best option however in the end was clearly the best option of the remaining candidates. The short term contract is not exactly a great show of faith. Not sure what the club's reasons may be behind this. Up to Adam now to bring this extremely fragile playing group together. Good luck, hope he understands what he is up against and can install better practice at the club. Wish him well.

Can you care to elaborate who was wearing thongs whilst coaching swans. If so that is very amateurish indeed.

I think Harding had more then long enough and I am happy to see him go. Lets hope Pickering is an improvement.
